I know Beowulf knows her. So she's findable. So is she going to jail for claiming to practice clinical psychology if she isn't really allowed to?

It is very possible, especially if she is claiming it to clients. But I somehow suspect that was just a claim made here in an attempt to intimidate. I am certain that is all the threats about lawsuits were, as well.

I read them , you're right things are getting bizarre , I guess you have to to be really careful what you say here or someone could call their lawyer.
I have been call worst things on another website I use and I just give the person enough rope to hang themselves and they end getting banned. It worked 3 times. I come out smelling like roses.

and judge will throw it out and laugh. In fact, the judge may give her a homework to read! If she is suing Jillio for defamation... she'll have to prove to court that Jillio's "lie" has damaged her profession.

Defamation lawsuit is notoriously difficult and nearly impossible to win because of Amendment One unless it's occupation-related. So...... Midnight will have to show to us that she is actually licensed to do whatever she claimed in her previous posts and that Jillio's statement has damaged her occupational reputation.
 
Seriously folks, I don't think that there is anything serious in what occurred. It was nothing more than a case of someone trying to increase their credibility by exaggerating what they have done professionally. When they were outed, they simply tried to handle it by issueing empty threats until they discovered that the threats were not going to intimidate anyone, either. Then the poster immediately logged off.

I don't know why people find it necessary to put themselves in such tenable positions. Sad.

no unless she practiced without license meaning... if she treated patients without license, that's jail time.

Right. She claimed to have a Ph.D. in human ecology, and an undergrad degree in psychology. Neither of which would permit her to practice clinical psychology, or to even sit for the licensure exam. Yet, she also claimed to have practiced clinical psychology.:dunno2: Guess people need to be more careful when they are trying to intimidate.

That's what I thought she said she did. She used to say she worked for a publishing house.

Right. So if her claim has any validity, and she has been practicing and representing herself to clients as a licensed clinical psychologist, it is a very serious offense. But I don't think that is the case. I think it is just a case of someone not thinking before posting.
 
well, ya'll dont have to worry 'bout nothing. As it was demonstrated in Palin vs. the Internet, it was shown that the internet always wins. Pay your three-fiddy to the judge for court fees and be off.
