yup, I had quite a few imaginary friends, sometimes I think they were angels or guides to support me through me shitty childhood!!

And btw, I agree about the pop crap music, not my taste either! Heavy metal, old punk, reggae, ska, rock and roll baby!!

The Clash, hands down, although the Sex Pistols were fun too.

I laugh easy, I love to laugh. My son and my b/f are both constantly trying to get me to laugh, and it works!! I laugh at myself, at physical comedy, at the universe, life is too short to be serious!!!

Do you go to concerts? Can you hear music??

Yeah I used to go a lot. I saw Stranglers at Pavilion in Bath,Buzzcocks at Uni in Bath, Bebop Deluxe at Oxford and Bristol, Hawkwind at Watchfield free festival 75' Del Amitri at Colston Hall in Bristol. But then I started playing in my own band...gigged in Germany and UK. Started to lose my hearing in last few years so started recording stuff and teaching Music Therapy to Deaf and Deafblind clients here in Bath. Now moving to Sydney in December met some musicians over there into deaf culture and its concept. My new Band is called DeafboyOne...naturally...but we're gonna have Sign Dance and Signing (Auslan) interpreters communicating the lyrics in time to the music. The gigs will be a massive visual feast with sound to light and sound beds in the floor but first I'm producing my first Album called "Sign Language" on DVD. The songs are loosely linked to deaf issues and a story from the perspective of a deaf/partial hearing boy and how he interacts in a hearing world? You could call it ba concept album (back to the early rock tradition I spose'?!

My Action Man was called Robert Peters (I thought it was a cool name at the time) He was a talking A/Man so our conversations were a bit limited. If I asked him a question he would respond with
"Mortar attack 50 yards..take cover!"
If I wanted to know something about the world he would say
"Keep your head down men and move forward"
Unfortunately towards the end (I was growing up by now) he had a parachute accident and his chest exploded leaving him speechless...

I have a Cool black Motorola Pebl, it texts, videos and is a hearing phone. I love it cos it reminds me of Star Trek. So when I'm feeling down I can just flick the receiver open and say "Beam me up Scotty..."
Modern technology ...don't you just love it!?

I have never even imagined such a concept and am totally tripping out on it, I think it is bloody fantastic. I would love to see a huge lightshow that is in time to the beat of the music...could even have different lights for different instruments and all go in sequence....woooohoooooo! Now back to your regular program...take it away!
