Greetings,
I have currently come across issues with 2 BTE processors and think it may have something to do with using the accessory audio cable being used with an Ipod.
After only a month the first processor starting displaying H5 errors and the battery would have to be taken out and reinserted to get it working again. The audiologist ordered a new one and sent it via fed ex
After having the second processor for only two days a buzzing noise was experienced while connected to the Ipod while running on the treadmill at the gym. The display readout was lit up with 88 SMT...I'm thinking that all characters were illuminated, but no error message. The buttons on the processor stopped responding. I took out the battery and turned back on but it wouldn't come back on.
I have tried pushing all three buttons to reset and both volume buttons to turn off accessory mode. But once these errors occur the processor stops responding and there is either no sound or a loud buzzing sound. A third processor is being picked up from audiologist today.
Either it is purely just luck that two processors have gone bad in the first month or there is some connection between using an Ipod with audio cable causing these malfunctions?
Has anyone else experienced these issues while using the accessory audio cable?
Thanks.
