It matters greatly! It would be illogical fallacy if you insist such an idea.

A Muslim does an honor killing.
A Muslim follows the faith of Islam.
Therefore Islam condones honor killings.

That's an outlandish statement. The bottom line is that Islam does not teach it nor condone it. It is a belief of certain Muslims who think it's okay to do honor killings.

That's an interesting thought but still does not conclusively prove the reason why Muslims and Jews are fighting over the land.

In the Torah, it says that all the dispersed Jews will be reunited by Jesus the Messiah's second coming. That still does not give the Jews the right to take over the Palestinian land and declare it as Israel. Even Orthodox Jews are against the idea of Israel's existence. The idea of gathering the Jews together in Israel through secular means are not rooted in Judaism.
 
First: No, a muslim killing someone for "honor" does not mean islam holds up waving flags supporting it. Would a christian raping females = christianity supporting rape? That's flawed logic.

I'm tired of people making vast assumptions about a group because of the actions of few. I do not plan on burrying alive any of my children. I am not my future husbands servent. Men are not without rules, just as females are not. Using a bible website as your main resource of information about islam isn't a good idea.

Long story short, try and keep an open mind regardless of what you may read or see in the actions of few. Really, as much as I love being flagged as a suspicious person -every- time I fly, I'd just rather be seen as equal, not some mindless slave that's -clearly- not thinking for themselves just because you see my hijab.

There is anywhere in the world you never know not only Israel. Muslim would surprise u if u are in your state and drop a note and say HELLO to you before suicide by bombing on you. How discuss???

Yiffzer - This is an example to give you best pictures and get you to understand this is anywhere in the world! Anyone does nothing to know what will be happening next when anyone can be happy in a moment life before be gone. Not think of being an isalmophobia in the world.
 
You're assuming we don't know anything about Muslim or Islamic faith..

I have done extensive research on Muslim culture, for my personal enjoyment. And this was After 9/11. And I happen to know that most of them are quiet, respectful people who do not support the "honor killings" or anything that has been going on. I still supported muslims when everyone else was judging them upon the actions of 1 group.
Yes, Israel is a soft spot between muslims and the jewish people, everyone knows this. But that's because Jewish people have the belief that Israel is their holy land and muslims believe it's their land.. so that's the problem between the 2 groups.. They will fight about it, but for you to group ALL muslims due to some misguided statements.. is wrong! Learn more about Muslims before you lump them ALL into one catagory.

Everyone was mad after 9/11.. but not everyone went into paranoida mode. I choose to learn about the group instead of taking in the same paranoida that grips everyone else. Why don't you do that instead of making ignorant statements about a specific group just because you hear stuff from people you know.

Oh well.. every country has different culture... I had a teacher from India when i was in University of Illinois... she told me back in old days... when a husband passes away..while he was being cremated... the wife was thrown in cremating along with the husband... because the wife's duties to her husband is OVER.... NOT NOW ANYMORE.. IT IS OUTLAWED...
You have to understand different cultures.... it is interested!!...I like to hear more about every country's cultures and their religions...

While I lived in Illinois and attended to University of Illinois... i had few Iranian friends... and they have their own Koran...It was inteesting .. our teachings are somewhat different....

He is intelligent but he has a habit of assuming so many incorrect things about other people.
