Is there any thing good about bing deaf

hello I don't want to sound like a cry baby. but for the last 3 years I've had hiring problem's and last week I went to bed fine and woke up deaf. it sucks so Im trying to make the best of it. siting at home thinking is there any thing positive about Bing deaf is there anything if so pleas let me know thanks :hmm:
 
Makes concentration on one task easier due to lack of outside distractions.

You can use this to improve your mind and end up smarter than most of your hearing peers.
 
Yeah those are good but I do have tinnitus .Dam there got to some thing cool like free Beer at a Deaf bar on Friday night or free cc movies at the theater

You could try to get disability discount at pool and amusement park.
 
The Deaf community...if you are interested in learning ASL.

Agreed (although I'm HOH). In math today, I had a substitute teacher, and all the other kids took advantage of this as a good day to talk to each other. I was having trouble concentrating on my schoolwork, so I just took my hearing aids out, blocking out a good portion of the noise. Solved that problem!

Just curious, did you go see your doctor right away after waking up deaf? There could be many different things going on. There could possibly be some treatments to restore some of your hearing. I would do everything possible to make sure you see your doctor, maybe some testing and then find out if this is a permanent things. Good luck.
 
if went to bed hearing wake up deaf I thought A&E unit first place to go.
 
Yes went to see a ENT that day they did some test and so fare just waiting till Monday to see a ear specialist and hope for the best .OK hears the hole store like 20 years back I had a sinus tumor and they gave me a lot of radiation and it destroys every thing in it way and they say that is the reason for me going deaf
