rumor saying that business have been lay off several staffs and cut salary.

It sound like video relay service isn't popular while vp-to-vp is hot.

Maybe that true. Because of lack interpreter. I use SVRS almost every week. Most them have trouble understand important thing I said.
 
Where did you hear the news?

If Sorenson have cut salary, why they post the job position on their website?

I dont believe you!! I dont hear any rumors!! If you heard the rumor then wheres the link or proof? come on!! Stop making it up and dont waste to make the thread!
 
There's been a few new VRS companies popping up and that increases competition and the FCC has been a scrooge on the VRS industry. And this can fuel rumors like these.

I not buy story! You would not put this! You would face to face them first more than rumors here.

ex-staff of Sorenson told so. The reason they hire fresh to keep money low instead have someone stay for more year and raise more on salary.

What an angry you are. Personal business doesn't make news. Unless someone would make risk and probably Sorenson will kick their ass. And see my other post and see why. Maybe you should ask someone who you know that work for Sorenson or was?

I also aware that FCC have been review every year and possible that if FCC decide to not support then Sorenson would have to find a way to fund to make money.

Use your brain, and think.. have you use relay service on sorenson that often? Or did you use alternative relay service on vp100/200 such as HOVRS, Sprint, etc?

Remmy that Sorenson used to be monopoly videophone and won't allow other relay service use their vp until a year ago that they allow? It make pretty sense to me.

Angry? Me?? HA!! RIGHT!! ex staff of sorenson was trying to ruin the reputation of sorenson SO again, wheres the proof?? hmm?
 
my roommate i asked since i read this forum and i asked him if its true,, and saying that they are cutting interpreters for the budget reason, right now, we ve been using csdvrs. its really cool which has personal phone number of 800 number

Hmmm that is very interesting. It's strange ... since my deaf friends just got hire to work at the Sorenson. If its about intepreter? then why they are building more services in different states? I am not too sure if this is true. I could ask my neighbor since he is working there...

When we installed Sprint Relay on Sorenson. We struggled to go through with Sprint because Sorenson block them. Now, FCC is under investigated because Sorenson is not welcome Sprint, it is very hurtful for the Sorenson Relay Service. We wait and wait for vrs from Sorenson Relay service for half hour. Sprint Relay appeared on the screen few mintues. It become more completive between with Sorenson, Sprint and ThatsHamilton, etc..

FCC is not happy with this service.

wellll....... you see, I was in Utah for Deaflympic where Sorenson the headquarter is there. I start to notice someone saying in psst psst psst. *gasp* Then I get some interest story after I return home and someone told me more. I wasn't sure if that confirm. blah blah...

I love being nosy.... :)
