Okay then, what if I tell you that you CAN'T stomp the spider, but you do it anyway, then ur murder. Was I correct? The word "Murder" is a confusing word.

It's hard to say when I am a Christian, because God says do not kill. I hate to experience " guilty " for killin' and it is scary to KILL someone when I never kill anyone before. But, to kill MY child -- Gee, that's hard to say. I just don't know what is goin' to happen, if someone actually kill MY child. I would probably scream and cry hard for the loss of my child. It's the " impact " part that could affect psychologically.

Yeah, depend on form of killings either murder or not.

Tell you the truth that I cannot stomp the spiders and ants... :o

I run and get my hubby and boys when I see spiders... they were like :roll: and do for me... Alan, my younger son don't do that but love to collect spiders... :giggle: I admit that I am a murder because I kill ants with bake powder and also kill flies with http://www.ideale-standpunkte.de/german/bilder/fliegenklatsche-1.jpg :o

Depend on situation. If a person (A) tries to protect other person (B), his child or himself from the killer with weapons (knife, gun, electricity tech. etc) is a self-defense.

Oh no, my dear! I agree with you that it's stupid law.

Accord German law: We were being lescure by police at parental conference.

If anyone who break in my house/property to steal something without use weapons or hurt us then we have the right to held them or do something without kill them with weapons and alarm the police immediately. (I questioned a police what if a burglar is stronger than me - he answered my question to go self-defense class how to protect myself against strong men or use metal/wood weapon to hit their head, not knife or gun).

If anyone who use weapons and break in our house/property and tries to kill us then we has the right to defend to protect our life against them... No matter either they are dead or alive is a self-defense. We are not charge for their death or injury but their responsibity for tries to kill us.

About the gun, if anyone who tries to break in and then run away than we try to catch them then shot his arm or leg to stop them to run away ONLY IF he is IN my property, not outside of my property. It's court decision if I shot his head or heart to death by accidently either manslaughter or not.

I know what you mean... I beleive that I would do the same as you as well... It's scary...

I beleive that it's easy for us to say this here but we would be different person when something happened in real life... You never know...

At first I thought that I can kill burglar if they break in our house/property until the police taught us... :o

If the burglar who tries to kill me with weapon then I can defend my life to against him is a self-defense... If without weapon then is manslaughter or murder because burglar didn't hurt me but want to steal things and foods...

Defee, I would suggest you to question your local police before you prepare to know how to do legal way.

Tousi...It is same here in NY as in Oklahoma,
that if some azz come bargin in here with his weapon threatin
to rob us or whatever, then we have the right to shoot the azz..
cuz he is trespassing on our property, period.
I dont have to ask my hubby cuz i know the laws and I know
how to use the weapons, thank you very much!

No, we would not be charged with murder IF the intruder breaks
into your home and tries to shoot you, come on, you jest!
No we dont need to talk to the police only if you know the laws of
your state.

For ants and flies, I am a murder because they didn't hurt me.

For bees/wasps, I am a self-defense because I protect them from try to hurt me...

I think its your religious belief that made you think you as a murderer if you "kill" a spider. Are you a Hindu? or you believe in New Age?

What dictionary did you use to define "murder"?

I killed probably millions of flies, roaches and fire ants. It does not make me a murderer. A worker for a Pest Control Company does not have licence to murder but to exterminate bugs. If I killed a person with an intend to kill, it makes me a murderer.

I didn't use any dictionary, those meaning are my opinion.

And Nope, I am not Hindu nor New Age loL! I am a Theravada Buddhism. I am only using the killing spider as example.

And actually I was just being clowning here ;)

Yes to all three answers. of course I do have killer instact (mispelling). Does it make me bad person, not at all. I just have to make sure nothing ever happen because I would kill any of them if they harm me or my children just alike mountain lion mother would do anything to protect her babies. Sure It makes me a murderer just alike Moses was.

Well, it depends. If your country has a law that makes you liable for the killing of someone else, then it's murder (but more like manslaughter).

I think everyone is entitled to have self-defense, even if it means killing an intruder. Most intruders are troublemakers that will contribute nothing but problems to the society.
