I think you don't understand how the FOIA works. You cannot make a request to access someone else's tax information. The FOIA is in place to ensure that you have access to policy decisions that was made based on your tax information. You cannot use the FOIA to get any sort of information you wish to.

Why charge $57 dollars for records?

Not seen actual documentations that supports the percentage claims nor have I yet researched the total annual income of families based on categories. But reports allegedly claims that the 1% is the rich people.

See his "Bowling for Columbine" film, a documentary that exploits the deaths of a school official and students for profitable gain. Alot of his films have the exact same pattern....exploitation.

He paid for Kenefick's wife's $12,000 medical bill that Kenefick publicly expressed his concern that he could not afford it.

Yep and no one wants to hire me due to my severe back injuries, psoriasis that not only attack my skin, but also inflames and infects my joints (contracted fingers for one).

In short, I am in alot of pain, 24/7 and constantly medicated which makes me sleepy every now and then. I feel like a 100 year old man.

I'm not complaining at all, I take life in stride. I have no qualms about people being rich and being poor. I'm very content with what I have, although I do worry from time to time in making sure that not only I, but also my bedridden wife has all that we need. Part of my "job" as being a husband and provider in the best of my ability.

I do, however, have a problem with whiners that complain that they don't have enough and they want more. So I'm most certainly am not one of the 1% nor am I one of the 99%. I am just ME.

I have to agree. I'm a bit surprised at the level of reaction to this. I don't care about Michael Moore either. I can't stand his movies, not because he is "right" or "wrong," but because I can't keep watching the onslaught of poor logic and emoting in his movies.

It's showmanship and propaganda. My position is, if you want to convince or persuade me of anything, you must do so using well-reasoned logic and without emoting all over the place. But his movies are designed to get you riled up and to bypass your thinking. As soon as I detect that, I turn off the movie.

In mind, it's not whether he is "wrong" or "right." I just don't care for how he presents his viewpoint.

As to whether he is wealthy, of course he is. He's not scraping by on $25,000 a year and living in a hovel. He's had lots of successful films and documentaries and he is a celebrity.

(Here's where I am surprised at the requests for proof. Would you ask for that level of proof about, say, an actor like Russel Crowe? Or a director like Steven Speilburg? There's no direct "proof" there, either, but no one seriously doubts they are wealthy.)

Is he a businessman? Yes. You simply cannot get where he is in society today without being one. He is a businessman who runs his own media operation. Does he like being a businessman? Probably not. But he is one.

This is not a partisan criticism. I don't like either wing of politics. They both go too far.

Nope, because I have served in the Grand Jury for 6 months for the State giving out either "true bill" or "no bill" to indict a person for a crime so it can move on to a trial phase.

Most majority of the cases we dealt with in the Grand Jury were tax fraud (and boring as hell at that).

Tax records are public records. We asked the lead D.A. that question and he detailed in great length how one can obtain a person's tax records.

Also, Politicians are by law have to disclose their tax records to the public each year. It's called "checks and balances".

You have no idea what you are talking about. If someone is under indictment for tax fraud, that makes their records available for the prosecution and the defense. It does not make them public record for any Tom, Dick, or Harry that wants to be nosy and create propoganda like this.
