is it true you can't trust a skinny chef?

GOTCHA.. nah.

I missed going to NYC in chinatown. My dad took me there ALL the time. :(

my favorite friend will be coming in tomorrow from Rochester since she just finishes her finals. I can't wait to see her and she can't wait to eat in chinatown

Awesome. Enjoy your friend and restaurant ... lucky you.. grrr

but what about that fat chef, hasn't he ate all the wrong food?!!:eek3:

discuss, argue, throw bombs to each other, (and now NSA is alerted to go to AllDeaf only to find out we're arguing about value of thinness of fatness fo restaurant chefs) :giggle:

Wouldn't matter as long as they can accommodate some changes, but I would express some concern if the chef is severely obese. Either way, I still prefer to prepare my own fares for health reasons.

Oh I don't know, are they fat because their food is so damn tasty or are they fat because they'll just eat anything and no food is safe around them ;)

One day I was watching the food network and the chef was a slim young woman........ I do not trust her. Not because of her size or anything but because she was cooking pasta okay, just plain old pasta in water and she pulled one out and ate it to check if was done. She goes "mmmmmmm" very enthusiastically. A plain pasta noodle. No sauce. No butter, nothing. Just. A. Noodle. And that warrants a "mmmmmmm"???? giiirl now I can't trust any of your "mmmmms" when you did it over a flippin plain noodle.

Don't care about how much the chef weighs, as long as they can make delicious food.

I can remember eating at Chinatown in Boston years ago and some men came in the front door carry a dead pig. I was like HUH ? I thought they would gone in the back door . We had a good Chinese restaurant but the last time I when there for mother day's it was horrible . My daughter took me and my plate and fork was dirty knife and when the meals came out mine was not there they never cooked . My poor daughter was upset ,we never when back there.

I was suspicious of an Asian restaurant in Anchorage. I took a couple bites of the food. Hmm. I love Asian foods. Something was not right. I noticed the restroom was by the kitchen so I took on over to the wild side. I went left instead of right and looked into the kitchen. Five unshaven guys with cigarettes hanging out of their mouths squatting in a large circle chopping up chickens on the floor with meat cleavers tossing the parts into stainless bowls in the middle.
I backed quietly up and went to tell my sister before she got to deep into her meal. She is half my size and eats twice as much as I do. It was too late. I just told her I was not as hungry as I thought I was.

If a chef is anexoric, then I would have an issue.

If a chef puts ketchup on his French Toast it makes me ambivalent.

what about chefs language, like Gordon Ramsey

Actually, I do think that is a serious issue. Creating a hostile work environment(where a person needs to earn your living) for someone is nothing to laugh about. Work places need to be about solving problems not creating drama.

Your boss' job is to help you get your work done, not to create drama about your work.

So if a person doesn't know what a turbo do, should they be barred from driving anything turbocharged?
