Then, I don't know. I can live without sex, but not romance. I'd need companionship.
LOL, we don't need to worry about them taking over the religious front! They eventually just die out! No sex, no kids! There goes the blood line!
Romance always is a big part of our lives but as we get older, things becomes mellow. Romance doesn't require to have sex involved. It can be for anything that comes along for the ride. You know, there's nothing wrong with wanting to be alone but it is always nice to grow old with someone that is meaningful to you.
As for romance being non-existent, I'd think it would throw the nature out of loop because we all are into it one way or other. So, for me, romance is something we all thrive on.
I found out this so called thing without sex is called Spiritual marriage for one who is married to someone but doesnt have sex.
but what do you call if its a relationship? Its platonic relationship? I guess.

Well, there is a difference between "can't have sex" and "not interested in having sex." Two people who are asexual would actually have a very compatible marraige.

I found this and thought huh? this is very interesting... so wondering if there is someone out there that is like that? 1 that doesnt want romance but have a marriage with someone.
