Is it $25 or $250?

Buying and selling is hardly a foreign concept to me or anyone for that matter. What I am asking is 'what' you are asking about ... a value of the old transaction, the confusion that can be caused by vendors that do or do not sign, or are you simply ruminating aloud?

Oh, just remembering an event in life. I am sure everyone remember a event in life whether it was 2 years ago or 20 years ago and want to talk about it.

I can see it now...

Person offers $24.75.. He goes off exasperated bellowing "I paid $25 for this thing, I must get at least $25 for this thing!" before storming off into his garage leaving the customer standing going "WTF?!" in the driveway.

And his wife storms after him saying, "Did you get the extra two cents?! It should be $25.02!! Did you get the extra two cents?!"

Edit: I've actually seen this kind of dialog before. Someone gets certain amount of money for something they sold, and it's not quiiite enough for the other spouse.
