Yes, it can be both at once. It depends on what portion you're reading at the time. If you're reading about something that already happened, that's history. If you're reading about something that has not yet come to pass, that's the prophetic future. The Bible contains both.

If Israel's manhandling and bulldozing Palestinians living in Gaza Strip, it doesn't concern you (general you).
If Israel's illegally using its cluster bomb or white phosphorus on people, it doesn't concern you.

My conclusion - ya'all hate Muslim countries

That is not what I am getting in one of the Detroit newspaper (forgot which). Once there was a big headline about Israel attacking Gaza and as I read down to near bottom of the article, it said it was responding to Gaza's shelling into Israel. That does it, I am disgusting with that newspaper for showing such a slant.

Forbidden to study other religions? :shock: Talk about restricting and limiting. What might happen if you study other religions? Is it really such a threat to be informed and knowlegeble? No wonder intellectual discussion of world religions is so difficult around here.

Once again you need to do more study of the so called Christian Bible which was translated from the original Hebrew and Greek texts. It is as Reba said, "BOTH". It truly depends on what part of the Bible you are reading. There is a large portion of history in both the old and new testaments and there is future prophesy as well in both sections. Why would I want to study other religions? They are religions and mine is faith and historical based. I am happy where I am. I know what my future holds. Do you? I really don't know why you feel the need to intrude into personal space and belittle others. Does it make you feel better about yourself? There are more than a few of us here that would like to see some honesty, genuiness and compassion come from you. I would like to give you the benefit of the doubt but maybe if it's not in you then I cannot expect it. I have been & will continue to pray for you. (That's my right and priviledge) I know that I'm far from perfect and make mistakes daily (sin). I am willing to admit my faults. Are you?

Even Nostradamus writings are both historical and prrophetic! Not saying I agree with the man but I just saying!
