is it true that the iphone 5s battery lasts 2hrs and drains quickly?
What should i get between Google Nexus 5 or Apple iphone 5s? any suggestions would be appreciated
:eek::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:

Not necessarily true. I had the 5s before (now 6) and it lasted way more than 2 hours, but that's because I kept the iPhone settings optimized; i.e., keeping the screen dimmed, turning off background activity for most apps, etc.

Never owned a Nexus or any Android-based phone before, so I can't comment on that.

Only I recall that original iPhone 5 (not 5s) had recall issues on battery and Apple provide free to replace, if purchase between Sept 2012 to Jan 2013.

Interesting. I need to check on recall informatio often.

I have a iPhone 5S, and ZERO battery problems. Ive had this phone for over an year now, no battery problems. It even can stay alive overnight for 2 days.

My iPhone 5 have battery problems, once it reach to 20% then screen shut down. I had to recharge. My iPhone 5 one year warranty expired long time ago, and I do not have insurance for it. I look forward to newer Apple iPhone.

if she txts for 5 min straight... her battery goes from 100% to around 20%. fubar! now no more!

Insurance do not matter for battery. It's for stole, water damaged, lost, damaged, etc. Only for warranty. Yep, My iPhone 5 have same problem with battery life.

I replaced replacement one from Apple Store when I had problem with iPhone 5's battery last year. No charge to pay. You aren't afraid to go to Apple Store to replace new battery or exchange replacement one. You try it. Apple store rep will be happy for you to help.

Makes sense, but barely makes a noticeable difference in my iPhone 5S, guessing some apps will use considerable power regardless what was set up.

One reason I have the 5S, I don't like HUGE phones, it is perfect for my small hands to use.

I've had no battery issues with my 5s. I minimize (close) my apps when not using them. Also using location services drains battery life so keep that turned off for apps that don't need to know your location. (Obviously you need it on if you want to Google directions , etc but you don't need it on for playing a game., etc. you can turn these off or on in your settings.) I can go all day without needing to charge.

Im hardcore internet Surfer and as well as gamer too , But The iphone 5s 16 Gb Cheapest price available several stores (Except Apple store) in india compared to Nexus 5 32GB thats what im confusing ... But My Opinions should be like
*Runs faster without lagging much
*Multitasking shoud handle up to 10 apps
* .mkv, .avi,mov,ts video formats must be supported in media players ( Maybe custom player if available like MX player on Android
*High-End Games and apps
*Hearing- aid features (if available)
* Etc :D:D:thumbdown::thumbup:
