Hi everyone my name is Nathalie, I am new to the community. As long as I can remember I grew up in the hearing world.When I was 1-2 my left ear was basically gone, and my right ear was fine. At age 45 my right ear took a drastic turn and now I am left with 50% lost. It made conversations and speech very difficult to understand. I was given the option for a hearing aid which I wore for 1 year it made things harder because of the background noise and speech. So I know that as I get older my hearing will get worst. So I have decided to find a community to join. I would love to meet new people that understand my struggles. I am looking forward to learning how to sign as well.
