Hello everyone :)

My full name is James Cartledge. I attended 5 different deaf schools in my life cuz my father was Air Force service which my family had to move many states and a few countries. The 5 different deaf schools are Kendall School for the Deaf(KDES now) on Gallaudet campus, New Jersey School for the Deaf, California School for the Deaf in Berkeley(Fremont now) and graduated from Texas School for the Deaf. I love to discuss about deaf cultures, deaf schools, CI, involved politics, deaf communities, big deaf events, and etc. I use ASL, interpreter for the Blind, I used to play for USA team at the Olympic Game for the Deaf in 1969. I am father of 2 small boys and beautiful wife. I live in South Dakota. Welcome to question/leave any comment(s) if you wish. Nice to meet all of you :) James
 
Welcome James, Very interesting resume. Looking forward to hearing/seeing:) more from you. I'm recently implanted with CI and gradual loss over many years. Due to loud noise in the early 50's. This is a very interesting site with people from all walks of life and experiences. I think all the way from being born deaf to hearing normally at this time? Take care and warm weather is coming. :wave:

Thank you for giving your comment. For me, I don't like CI but I respect you. I am more than happy to discuss about CI cuz I have been reseached many states about CI history. I mean heal discussion. :)
