International Day Against Homophobia

It matters a great deal to some.;)
 
I'm for equality, not treat us as second citizen, especially civil unions.

Kudos to GAY MARRIAGE!!!
 
I'm not so sure I want to get rid of homophobes.

I have so much fun with them.

I can drive them to wanting to kill me in two minutes flat.

Come to think of it, I seem to remember a couple who did a bit more than want to....

Most people cannot believe just how much fun I can have -- Having no inhibitions I can, and do, go past what most straights or gays would dare.

"Oye, I just melt at all that masculine testosterone pouring out your veins when you talk like that."

and

"Oh, good show. Keep it up because I don't want my wife to guess we are having an affair."

"Do you always tighten up your butt like that when you are angry?"

And the list goes on...

I decided to edit this to ask: Do female homophobes react the way male homophobes do? I mean take a swing at you for "coming on" to them?

Not sure I ever met a female homophobe.

Also, I like to make additional comment.

If you aren't make account on gay issues as political reason so I'm cool with it.

Ex: If you vote for someone because they are anti-gay rights so it means you are account on gay issues as political reason, but in other way, if you vote for someone because of economy issue so it means you are not account on gay issues as political reason.

I said that civil unions were the better option? I said that I wanted to get rid of marriage itself (legality of it) for BOTH opposite and same sex couples. But if heterosexual couples want to keep their precious marriage license then I'm all for gay marriage. I'm saying "you can't have your cake and eat it too."

However. As for DADT, I agree with you. It's going to be a non issue soon enough anyway. I think there will be a surprising amount of gay people in the military and most of their straight peers already knew.

There are a lot of people who believe that marriage is a religious matter and the government should not be involved in it at all. Separation of church and state.

I have met a female homophobe. She was a social worker for the deaf. We both knew a gay coda and she was certain that her dad molested her when she was young because it's not natural for female to turn out this way.

Which is the same thing I have said in a few threads. I even quoted a SF judge that said this......

Hmmm. I only met one lesbian who told me incest was the reason she changed her sexual orientation -- And it was not molestation by her father but outright rape.

The dad has never struck me as the type to molest children and the gay coda isn't the only gay member of the family.

I wonder about that sometimes. I met a brother and sister. They were both gay but he had a much harder time coming to terms with himself than she did. She was in a self defense class with me. He would watch but would not get involved. I think it was because their father was much less intolerant of him than of her.

Perhaps the father was intolerant or afraid of his own inclinations.
