Insane Vent From Me

One of the common rookie mistakes anyone can make is to think they can change another person through force, guilt trip, or manipulation of any form.

That includes posturing with biblical verses with the intention to attack instead of really helping. That lacks integrity to me.. it perverts something loving and pure... intended to be behind these verses. *shrug* consider this feedback.

Additionally, constructive feedback does not have to be filled with namecalling or insults, nor does it has to be harassing. That can also pervert something good you meant to achieve. Instead, you're stuck in the drama or some emotionally draining cycle, even if you might be "right." Words have power as the intentions behind them are the fuel of that power. Consider this another feedback.

There's also a time to talk about these things, and there's a time to walk away. One of life's secrets is determining these kinds of boundaries that would be deemed healthy for the individual (you). The moment you decide to own up to that as your responsiblity, you're one step forward from A to B. It is a journey.

As far as AJ going with this, I haven't seen him post any negative, maybe to a few peeps but for a good reason. What can I say?? I say negative things sometimes.. you have too, Heath. We all have.

Heath, when you first joined AD, you have insulted and criticized us deaf people. Yes you have! You can't say you didn't. I've read it with my own eyes that you have said stuff like that..

you act as if you've got more power over us and its not true.. you need to grow up and act like one of us. you're deaf yourself so you're basically insulting yourself too.

Sheesh, I am just gotta throw my two cents in, AJ, I told you what you gotta do, put Heath on ignored which already had set up in AllDeaf, the problem with you is that you letting Heath get to you, now that you posted in public doesn't make you look good to be honest, second you hassling Heath in private message he does not require to read your private message to him. He can decide to either ignored or read, he decide not to read, you can't get upset over that. I am not on Heath's side at all. I am only pointing out the truth from the heart.

When I read your point of this thread, I understand you are venting your feelings, but remember AllDeaf have a policy here about venting out, without naming a member, which you already named a member, You broke one rule. Don't waste your breath on that person, just simple put him on block then you won't have no problems. ;)

cheri when i made this thread i fully knew what the repercussions were. i fully understood that i could very well be banned for this. and yeah i know that i could just put heath on ignore, but i had to let this out. and yeah i know that i would look bad in some peoples eyes and i know that i would probably lose from AD friends and some respect. but it was something i had to do, and i do feel better. i had to let it out. and i dont regret i did it. and i dont take it back. i felt it was something i had to do.

If that's how you feel then I guess you are not mature enough to stand your ground in keeping your fingers off the keyboard and ignored. I learned my lesson when I bashed right and left on two members, It wasn't worth it, I don't want to wasted my seconds on them, when I could just put them on ignored and don't have to read their posts anymore. I feel much better. :thumb:
 
i figured someone would call me immature. im just surprised it took this long for it to happen.

And not me? LOL, I guess you were so angry you didn't see the attempts I made to get Heath to take the higher road. I see Heath's taken up the "higher road" banner but he really isn't....not in the way that I meant.

You are twisting my words here.

I think it is because Deaf people have nothing good going on in their life and sex does feel good ... hey that is positive and can be a good thing if sex is confined to the married bedroom. Until then they don't have anything that is good to move onto bigger and better things like college then a real job straight out of college have a good social life, and learn real social skills things like that. It is a matter of expanding their life experiences and doing what is good and positive.

It is not negative ....It is the truth that many Deaf people are stuck with nowhere to go untill they have a chance to get their situation turned around for the better. I know so many Deaf people that are sitting at home and trying to find jobs and really are struggling. When the right kind of help comes then Deaf people can be successful with the right help and people who really want to help and support seeing the Deaf people be successful.

I AM NOT SAYING ANYTHING NEGATIVE. DO NOT JUMP TO CONCLUSIONS.
 
AJ, just put him on ignore list.. He is on my ignore list, and I have no problems since.... It is best to not start a big scene here....

AJ, This arguement is worth nothing.

You keep going on in circles when I have explained myself more clearly.

I am beginning to think you get a funny kick out of causing trouble here on AllDeaf.

This stuff is not even funny at all.

You are trying to attack and maul me online when I spoke the hard hitting truth and offered what I have seen from my own experience.

I am not afraid to speak out on a wide range of Deaf issues of the day.

I am not here to cause any trouble and to speak the truth when it is necessary.

I have alots to offer on the table and you don't want that. That is your problem, not mine.
