criminals are not allowed to have guns. Drug dealers are criminals .... your point?

Since only criminals will have guns if they are banned, maybe we should lift the restrictions and let them have guns? After all that is your logic concerning drug possession.

then the answer is obvious. Criminals would not be able to have guns in the first place if the guns are banned. If the guns are banned here - obviously it means no more gun stores, gun factories, etc. All gone. All clean. No more gun deaths.
 
Meh i think banning guns isnt the answer.. there will always be criminals. Banning guns will just give them ideas of other ways to cause havok upon citizens.

Brewer initially made the comments earlier this month during a debate of Republican gubernatorial candidates. She repeated them Friday when asked by a reporter for the basis of the claim.

"Well, we all know that the majority of the people that are coming to Arizona and trespassing are now becoming drug mules," Brewer said. "They're coming across our borders in huge numbers. The drug cartels have taken control of the immigration.

"So they are criminals. They're breaking the law when they are trespassing and they're criminals when they pack the marijuana and the drugs on their backs."



I see her quoted as saying MOST are drug mules. That seems like a preposterous statement.

I also know that the marijuana trade from Mexico has shrunk drastically in recent years. Why buy their garbage when Canada grows much better stuff, as does California? No need to risk using drug mules when the crops are grown within the borders. Mexican drug cartels can make much more money from Cocaine and heroin.

A pound of cocaine fetches far more money than a pound of marijuana. Since you are a gold hunter, would you switch to copper?

but we have police officers, dozens of LEO agencies and multi-billion dollars budget for that.
 
True enough.. But.. not all crimes are commited with guns. So banning an items doesnt solve the problem. it will just create more.. we are a species of adapting.. if a person wants to commit a crime they will figure out a way to do so.. with or without a gun.. Ie suicide bombers/ stabbings/ chem warfare...

Agreed. As far as U.S.'s problems with drugs...our society has created it. Can't blame it on anyone else but American society.

Yep. One cannot be labeled a criminal until one has been accused, arrested, and convicted of a crime.

No it doesn't. One cannot be labeled a criminal and fall under the "possessing a weapon under disability laws" until one has been convicted of a crime.
