Yes, I read that it's not a valid federal ID but that's not what an employer needs.

However, oh, a social security number is required in order for IRS to record illegal immigrant's incomes so I assume that an employer asks for SS number as well. :hmm:

I just asked my daughter if her SSN and birth certificate were required to apply for a DL. She said yes. Looks like the CA DMV submits illegal immigrants a DL illegally. That's what the OP's link is all about. Oh, I know why...CA DMV needs money.

No help with new law, they (illegal immigrants) can create more problems for taxpayers. They can skip auto insurance payments, drive with suspended DL. The point is what the law enforcements miss is: the illegal immigrants can not maintaining their vehicle repairs to running on the roads safety. Big headaches....
 
some counties give immigrants free driving lessons bc driving so bad they drive illegally..It really pisses people off uk
