I am 22 years old, and I am planning to fly to the U.S on my own, I told my parents, I will be fine, I am a adult now and I told them I would like to experience this on my own, they are fine with it, but some minor concerns, but most importantly, I will certainly be leaving contacts and informations of my whereabouts (staying hotels, etc) so just to be safe and easy contact. I believe I'll be fine going solo.

Hi Sara, I am from England in Hampshire, about 1 and half hour from London. I have travelled solo since age of 18 (I had travelled with my younger brother on our own under care of crew often from 9 to 16) I travelled all over the world and had been very lucky.

I understand that you have sezuires but if you had been sezuire free for least few months and you ask your doctor for clearance letter and send it to the airline with copy of your flight details so they know that they have a passenger on board with sezuire and is more prepared. I cannot see it would be a problem as long they KNOW. My cousin has sezuires too and she travels to singapore regularly for work. *touches wood* she had no problems.

Ah, London... I'd love to visit London, as well as the rest of the UK. But, I won't be going for a while, unfortunately.

Anyway, have phun in London. Oh, and you don't have to buy me anything, ok? :)

I live a couple of hours outside London

I spent a semester abroad in London. It's a fantastic city, and you will enjoy yourself immensely! Be sure to go to a few museums--the British Museum and the National Gallery were my favorite, as well as the Rare Books Collection at the British Library.

There is really so much in London. After 5 months of living there, I still had only seen a tiny fraction of it. As the quote by Samuel Johnson goes, "When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life, for there is in London all that life can afford."

You had been sezuire free since you were 12?? thats brilliant, I don't see the problem. As you are adult you have the right to lead your life as you wish.

If you are going to Blighty you'll need to save up money as it's not cheap.

A round trip ticket from Seattle to London is like over $700 bucks, not cheap...so suggest you save up some money now. :)
