My doctor had good news and said that yes he can almost always get insurance to cover the CI surgery now days. as long as I'm below 40% he said it shouldn't be a problem. I go back on November 9th for the first preliminary CI evaluation testing and explanation of different devices with the audiologist that is suppose to last 2 hours. Can't wait. Excited if there is something out there that might improve my enjoyment of life. I feel like I'm missing out on so much right now since my hearing loss has doubled. So frustrating!
