I'm in a relationship and want to make friends

My boyfriend and I have been watching this show called switched at birth and it got us curious on how to learn sign language. I have always wanted to be friends with someone who was deaf because they could teach me a lot of things. I don't mean to sound rude about all of this but anyone who is willing to show and teach me and be my friend let me know:)

I'd suggest taking books out from the library or taking an ASL course. There are resources online as well. Learning another language can be difficult and time-consuming. I wouldn't want to start a friendship with someone and rely on them to teach me their language. That would be more of a teacher-student relationship. You could go to Deaf events (maybe find one on meetup.com) and meet Deaf people that way. Good luck!
