Since i want to post this that I am back from hosptial today this morning cuz i had Diabete attack monday night went to ER and my sugar was 555 and i was VERY SICK it started sunday night around 445 and i had a TERRIBLE PAIN i slept alot, hard to breath, heart was beating real fast and dizzy and throw up every 5 mins, manythings it was REALLY AWFUL so i vp my friend and she got my mom to take my son for a week and i went to ER and found out then they putted IV in me and i was in a huge pain... sooo Found out that my sugar was 555 and it was very D A N G E R O U S!!! soooo Now i'm home i been in a suck hosptial for 4 days monday to today so FINALLY but i'm not fully RECOVERING i used to take diabete pills.. nowww i have to be on INSULIN for GOOD :( cuz i'm on DANGEROUS right now need to recovering.. i had 5 BIG IV bags and 10 bloodworks! too much medcation in me right now so want to say everyone that i'm alive and fine but still weak trying to recovering fully soo cant travel much and many thing soo Right now i'm scared cuz i dont want to go back to hosptial again if it happens again soo Just wanted to post it.. thanks!
 
Oh no I am glad your home now and resting. Just be careful. I am scared too with my diabetic, but not bad as yours. Wow. Thank god your all right, really. :)
 
I am sorry you had to go through that. I am also glad you are home now and taking care of yourself...I am happy that you are doing fine now. :) Diabetes is a bad thing to have...my grandmother had that, and she was also insulin dependent. I remember visiting her, and she would give herself shots, and then test her sugar with a glucose monitor.

555?? you mean your sugar was low under 5.0 ?? .. my ex boyfriend is diabetes too .. he been on diabetes since he was 5 yrs old. but we been together for 2 yrs then now we are friends now :) .. he get into low sugar sometime .. when he was low so I grab juices right away before happened.. Once he was sleeping without feeling and I was planning go to bed so I tried to move his leg but he got so sweat!!!! so i had to grab and check his blood and juice till he is doing fine now whew.. twice he went to hopstial dang! back in July 2005 and Oct 2005. now he havent went hopstial for a year whew. He do sometime low sugar cause of Rapid little bit fast low. Sometime I tried to take care of him and he said dont bother and I can do it myself not act like little boy .. so sometime i let him do and sometime take care of it. He will go back to his hometown about in spring time cause he like in his hometown and have no plm with it. he is too picky lol :lol:

He is on insulin of Rapid and NPH... My grandmother have daibetes on pills not insulin. and my papa gord is on daibetes on pills and NPH right now my papa gord was took sugery heart which he got plm with the heart right now papa gord is doing good now I think still in hopstial :)
 
OHHH wow.. I'm glad you're okay. Yes 555 is realllllyyyy high!!! :jaw: Make sure you eat the right food and take care of yourself! Have a speedy recovery and come back!

ohhh 555 is really high ? oh dang!!! my mom told me that if it is high and it can be become blind :shock: :Ohno: better stay on 5.0 to 10.0 not over 10.0 or under 5.0 :)

oh yeah its very high.. its a matter of life or death situation.

the normal sugar is range between 70 to 100 i think....

my ex boyfriend is daibetes and he told me that normal blood from 5.0 to 10.0 he used to be on diabetes since he was 5 yrs old. Right now he is 33 yrs old. Sometime he get high under 30.0 tht high.
 
Wow thats extremely dangerous, glad u did it right away. Never know something happen later on. Glad u getting well, hope that recovery speed. My dad had diabete too. Please take care of your self. Glad ur alright..
 
Welcome back! I have never seen this number as high as "555" in my life. You are very lucky that you are here today. Please take good care of yourself!

Yeah 555 is very HIGH very RISK but Its range 70 to 150 is very normal but over 150 is dangerous or low than 70.. i learned from hosptial the other day but i used to had insulins when i was pregnant i got diabetic since i was 21 so it's almost 5 years that i been having those but didnt show it that it was serious until now!!!! sooo i am SCARED to go back to hosptial so i can loose my sights and lose my son too but now i'm going to be on strict diet and everything to get myself better Im not fully recovering Y E T but will be any few weeks going to dr and get checked i checked my sugar just 5 mins ago and it's 115 and i'm THRILLED! INSULIN IS WORKING than the damn PILLS dont HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:( CandGloveMad, you are definitely in my prayers. How scared you must have been when you had this attack. Thank God you got to the hospital in time and get the medical attention you needed!!! I pray that from today on, you will be alright, and God will watch over you and take care of you to make sure that He gives you the strength to recover fully. My prayers and thoughts are with you!! Glad you are doing getting good now :) .. inserting from Usa and Canada that in Usa said 70 to 100 are normal hmm insterting .. in canada 5.0 to 10.0 are normal new to me from usa eheh :lol:
 
I want to say thannkkkss for all the prayers i would love to have that from you guys and one thing i want to mention that My boyfriend's uncle was 3 year old and had diabetic until 49 year old he died cuz of drinking heavy.. but i dont drink that much anyway so as long i'm alive and ok.. I am very CAREFULLY from now on cuz it scared me big time!!! i have NUMB on my right leg so will ask dr tmw whyyyyy cuz it ANNOYING ME!!! everytime i walk it act so FUNNY and feel sharp pain i hate it really! and want to say I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!! for being a GREAT FRIEND!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recommend you if suppose happend low... Right away take Mint ice cream which it's best boost your health back.. that what I learned from my friend who diabatic..
and already told my DAD in law who has simalir alike you... I suggest him use emergency kit is.. mint ice cream.. which helps fast boost your body back normal..
He did .. wow impressive..

I'm glad you're back your feet again.. and kept eye on your blood drop for diabetic.. to see low or high... I aint' experience how many percent and etc etc... I just seen what the best eating for foods have suitable meet your body needs...
