I'm an ASL student and we are doing a debate in class on deaf issues can anyone help?

Old skool deaf culture yeah, but culture evolves and changes....and I would bet in fifteen years that ASL will stil be around, and there'll still be a lot of old skool deafies.....Yeah I know that only ten percent of Deaf are DODA but that's still a pretty large percent....and there are some hearing parents who will choose ASL for their dhh kids...I know of hearing parents who have chosen ASL for their hoh little kids....so who knows?
