Hi, my name is Derek and it's nice to meet you all who just logged into this forum and be curious about what kind of guy I am and what I am looking for in a person. I just joined to give myself a chance to see if people can really interact and actually end up with someone. I never usually use the internet at all to meet people because I believe interaction is better than someone behind a monitor but I decided to give a shot. I really rather social and get to know people and see where it goes from there. I hear stories of how people can actually meet people on the internet and they click together because it was meant to be so I decided to give a chance and see what happens because you never know if you try! I am new to this forum and would love to know the majority of how many deaf people are on this. I am deaf myself and I look forward to getting to know each one of you ladies who are into this community. I will come back and post a full introduction of who I am and more down the road if this post gets bumped with an audience of people who are very interested in getting to know more about me and my personality. I will hope to gain new people in my circle and see where the connection takes off. We all need more friends in life to appreciate special moments and share memories in each other lives. Nobody needs to be alone all! It sucks to be alone! We all know that for sure! It's great to have someone you know and exchange that wonderful experience together. I promise you I am worth your time if you are merely curious about who I am and I hope you will like me for who I am! I bet every woman who is viewing this is more than meets the eye and you are a mystery because I don't know you very well yet! I am 5'5 tall, brown hair and blue dark eyes. I love to skateboard, draw, build custom computers and play PC games. I love debating about everything that revolves around this world! I have a hearing family and I am the only one who cannot hear. I attended a deaf school in Olathe called Kansas School for the Deaf. Kansas is such a small state and I always wanted to find more people who are deaf and hearing people around every part of the town in Kansas. I always appreciate making new friends from other states too! Who doesn't like pen pals? :D I always wanted to travel and experience new things in life. Who doesn't? We don't have to always glue ourselves in one state when you can go out in the world and see amazing wonders! I use American Sign Language as my native language to communicate all my life. I am a confidence guy and I like to listen to people and give advice if they ever need one! So tell me about yourself! I would love to get to know you! I am gonna go ahead and post it and hope for the best!

Here is a picture of my skateboarding. I can add more if you guys are unsure who I am. Don't be shy and put out some nice feedback and comments! This is my footage and my YouTube channel. I am trying to develop a channel to promote deaf gamers besides just skateboarding. I have a life but I need to find free time to get this stuff rolled in. I will intend to improve my routine on how to add intros and endings for a YouTube channel. I just recently started and I never have the time to stop and do more. I need to pick up some research and find alternatives on how to make a channel successful. Thanks to Rikki Poynter we can now understand how subtitles work! I intend to add those in the future. Right now there are no subtitles needed at the moment. The skate video only has music.
 
Wow, not one single hearing or deaf, hard of hearing a person has ever posted this at all? Why divert attention elsewhere? I am really a nice guy. I graduated from Kansas School for the Deaf in Olathe, Kansas. Please join the conversation! I would love to make new deaf friends in my life! Not to mention I am single! Nobody deserves to be alone! Let's be friends and see where it takes off! Why not make a bigger circle! Socializing is fun in society! Please don't be shy to respond to every one! I'm a straight guy here. Alright, I’m not sure how this works, is this posting publicly? I just came across AD. I have been struggling a bit with a situation in my life and was browsing some topics.Are you the same person I sent a reply to about speaking with deaf or hard of hearing or hearing people?

Well, this is a public forum for sure. Everyone on the interwebs knows this but you probably never usually get on forums but I am pretty sure you use social media. It's the same thing really. I can understand if you are struggling. I struggle constantly in society with life too like you and I totally relate. So tell me about yourself! What do you do for fun? Where do you come from? Are you deaf? Hearing? Hard of hearing? Anything that comes to your mind. Is that actually your picture on profile? I can't tell which one of you is you lol.
 
I have a skateboard but I am struggling to get on it. You made it look so easy! I think I am a lot older than you. I will be 38 soon. I am still very active. You haven't mentioned your age.

I saw those videos. I really do admire women who skate too. Because they have the same hobbies as I do! I always wanted to be close friends with female skater but they are hard to find in my area. One of my qualities I would want in a woman but I am fine if they do NOT skate but I can teach them! I really should upload my skate videos! I think I will sometime this week! Thanks for visiting the thread! Do you skate? Has anyone looked up on Youtube and google Semi Deaf Skateboarder Brandon White? He is a deaf skater. He wants more skaters out there join forces so we can have a deaf division for deaf skateboarders! Now that would be amazing huh? We need more skaters out there!
 
Sorry for not visiting forums. I was leery about how this community forum function because it barely has an https connection encryption and I intend to talk to the web designers to fix this website and protect everyone's identity and the community itself. It needs to be a secured community with RATED Encryption connection so no leaked comments or information is leaked. We need to protect ourselves! Update those browsers you guys :D

One more thing. Have you read the thread title of the forum section? It clearly states " Marriage, Dating & Single Life " Pretty much sure this is a section to discuss dating, marriage, and single life connections. You meet people and get to know one another and it's nice to make new friends? Nothing wrong with that! :D Hope this helps you realize you made a mistake commenting on your accord.
 
Here is old footage from 2011. I also have a channel too. I am a gamer in my spare time. Any gamers here too? Subscribe if you want! Glad to be part of the community! Any deaf skaters here too? It's okay if you don't skate at least we can hang in forums and build up new friendships in new circles!
 
here is one. I dunno what happened to my videos. I subscribed Brandon because I know one of his friends who came to my town and renovated the skate park. They mentioned they know him. Personally, I dunno if they were affiliated with them but I doubt it. They just probably met him somewhere else in the past. I kept wondering why this guy hasn't uploaded anything new. It could be due to the COVID thing but I can bet you he has a half-pipe in his backyard and is practicing a lot of stuff.
