If you had a choice to pick a time you like to be born in and why?

In an era where Cary Grant, Katharine Hepburn and Audrey Hepburn were all the vogue. Also so that I can wear classical clothing which looked absolutely simple and elegant.

I wouldn't mind visiting the Regency period in England and see Bryon, Beau Brummell and all the influential, aristocratic people and the 'scandalous fashions". Ahh, there's the famous now defunct Vauxhall Gardens.

Victorian time:

and also between 1900 and 1960 because of classic clothes.

I would like to be born around 2000's like 2000 as I grow up, life would be better like more cures for illnesses or disablities, technology, etc....

I think the era of the Gold Rush in Australia in about the 1880s. The first convict fleet and the Eureka age were very interesting to me. I would also love to know more about England in the early years, where they all wore long dresses and a hat. Very interesting.

I wish I was born at 6:00 am on June 6th in 1666. That would make me immortal!

Another addition:

I would like to morph into Elizabeth Taylor in Cleopatra movie in the early 1960s where the scandals were broken loose in Rome, Italy. Hey, I am la la la LIZ!!! :giggle:

I would like to be born in the time when technology and science are very advanced. Think about the movies like Artificial Intelligence and Matrix.

No one would love to be born in mid 1700s i see. If i was born in 1700s i wanna be born in philadphia. Where i can hear that liberty bell ring. And i want to meet my colonial hero,Thomas Jefferson.I like everything i heard about that man. His loyalness to freedom and independance. Its willing to live free or die! He even said those famous words .

Life was so hard for everyone in old days, everyone die early. Men were idiots back then. I have two choice here, I would want to experince at the beginning of this world and see who were my ancestors. And other one I would to be there when they open space highway in not so distant future. Fly around the earth and explore the universe.

That's an easy one. Adam and Eve. :)

LOL I was thinking same thing.. imagine
go nude at the Garden of Eden with peace & love
and never go hungry and never deal
with green paper (money, dollars, bills)
during Adam and Eve times...
especially before eating that forbidden fruit :)

Lol, true. What does Adam and Eve were looked alike? Were they short or tall? What were color of their hair and eyes? Were the land same as it is today? Did they lived with dinasours? There are so many things we did not know what it was alike back then and I want to know whole.

I was beginning to wonder when somebody would bring up the possibility of being born in the future, as opposed to the past. I think 2200 would probably be a great time to be born. By the year 2100, I predict that we will pretty much have a complete handle on how biological systems work. There will still be a few loose ends here and there, but I believe that medicine will have advanced to the point where almost all diseases will be easily curable. That will leave only interstellar space travel as mankind’s remaining technological obstacle. But this could be resolved within the next two centuries if we put enough effort into it. By the beginning of the 23rd century, materials engineering will have advanced to the point where we will be able to do almost anything that it is possible to do. This may be as far as our species goes, though. Overpopulation may ultimately be our downfall, and we may have only two or three hundred years to enjoy our newfound maturity before we start to collapse under the weight of our own success. By the year 2500, social disorder caused by food shortages and overcrowding may be the beginning of the end of our way of life. Our species will never disappear entirely, of course, but it may not continue to exist in an advanced technological state. So I’m guessing that humankind’s heyday will be the period between 2200 and 2500 A.D.
