If you died, would you....

If you died,would you...

We have already buried our baby girl nearly 5 years ago. We decided to buried her because we believe her soul is there. She is buried beside her grandparents at the moment. They are looking after her for us. But when our time is up, we be buried with her. It our tradition, burial!! In Ireland, people believe in burial rather than burn into ashes!!

The whole family on my hubby's side and my sides are for burial but my hubby & I decided for cremation.

Because we don't want worms and spiders come to creep on me after saw the 25 years old corpse (original) at world body museum in 2003. :Ohno:

We agreed to be cremated because it's easier and quickly... none of spiders and worm come to eat our ashes...

Well, now have a concrete wall burial going worldwide which started in my home town, Rockhampton, Queensland, Australia to prevent decomposing of box and bugs eating the corpse. It hold 3 adult box or 9 baby box. This was design to reduce vandalism of cemetry so therefore it's just boxes buried in concrete walls with plague hanging on the wall.

By the way I preferred to be cremated. Less space and more appropriate to me.

If you want to be cremated, why?

Cremated, because when I mortally die, my flesh is no longer needed by my soul.

I will donate my body parts to anyone who need them to survive (like organ donor) first, then burn my body to ashes. I want my ashes to be blown away (by the wind) over the mountain. It makes me feel like I'm so F R E E ! ! ! I believe I will get a new body when I go to Heaven.

After organ donation, I will be buried in a family plot that we have at a local cemetery.

When I die, I want my organs donated first.

Then cremated. No burial. Using the ashes to make a diamond ring for the family to keep is rather a interesting idea.

After I die, I want to be cremated and my ashes scattered in the wind somewhere nice peaceful scenery.

I don't want my ashes kept in an urn on a mantleshelf in the living room. I rather my ashes release in the wind to be free.

It's impossible to prevent from bugs eating the corpse because the bugs come out from corpse itself. (Nobody can sees little flies go to corpse before the coffin shut down, the flies lay the eggs on the corpse, that's how the bugs/worms come...

I would suggest you to buy a piece of raw meat and leave raw meat on the plate for few weeks then you will see the worms come out from meat. It's an exactly same with corpse.

Yes, it's same here in Germany as well. You can buried in concerte walls or grave.

Exactly, cemetary is cheaper and enivornment-friendly.

First of all, I'm very sorry to hear about your daughter. :( Is she died of child birth? I hope you don't mind me to ask you. Its hurt to lose beloved one... :(

Yes it's correct that Irish people beleive to burial because my Dad is an Irish and generation of his side is also Irish as well.

No, my baby was not stillborn. She died of Potter's. She was born without Kidneys. Before she died, she was fighting for her life for 4 hours, then gave up and died. Yes, it is very heartbreaking to lose someone so preious. My daughter didn't get to live like us, we should appreciate life itself. I miss her so much...Thanks for asking. I don't mind as people always ask how my daughter died. By the way, her name is sarahjane.

I want to be cremate after donating my organs and have my ashes scattered over the ocean. (I haven't found the spot where yet)
