If the mods are doing a bad job...

i got a question and its kinda related and not related to this topic...

do mods have favorites of members? and do they allow that to assist their decision on mod stuff? Answer that question honestly PLEASE?
 
Seems like the direction all this is taking is the fact that perhaps some members feel that any one of the moderators should have their mod powers stripped away and take the fall for this whole situation, not. For one thing, we don't play favorites here in AD whatsoever, I sure don't!! Ever since my days of monitoring a chat room for 4 yrs., I did my best to be there for 'everyone'...so each one could feel comfortable and happy being there, always the one to bend backwards in time of help or need with any member...therefore, not only do I set aside my own personal feelings from my Mod feelings/duties, I was thankfully raised up to respect and reach out to everyone I could possibly do so as I would like to be treated the same as well.
Treating everyone fairly is one of the key factors I live by...when members can't seem to 'let go' or cease the badgering/bashing, then to be fair for 'other' members, certain actions are taken, whether it be a warning or a ban. As for bans, members here do not have the right to know the reasons why a member was banned, that is confidential and is to remain that way. As for reasons, or any member confiding information, etc., I keep those confidential as well, as each member has that right and the respect...and trust.

Also, all this 'nitpicking' and frivolous nonsense about this and that, poking around aimlessly with questions that apparently seem to be moot but simply is bringing about more discord (strife, dispute, disagreement) instead. That's what I'm seeing here lately and it's something that AD does NOT need....Alex already pointed out in his first post--TO MOVE ON!!

Bottom line, I'm a fair and reasonable guy...more importantly, the power of forgiveness has taught me much as well as the Love I continue to get from above--everyone is unique in their own way, yet, when the bashing, the slandering, the accusing, etc., is going on and on...there's a time where we must draw the line...in some cases, members will be banned, other cases, members will be warned and then in other cases, we'll either close/lock up threads as well as trying to maintain harmony throughout AD. A few rotten apples can ruin so much...nothing is ever 'swept' under a cyper-rug whatsoever, no one knows how much this Mod Team/Administrator works together behind it all, striving to maintain peace and a place of enjoyment for all members. I'm very honored to be with the Mod Team and Alex is very much more than a 'fair' man....My hat's off to Alex for all he has done, to all the members who have stood by the Mod Team/Administrator, thank you!!

Now...let's stop with the bickering and nitpicking--it IS time to move on...as for questions unanswered, like Alex stated, go to Taylor or BD/RS to know the whole truth. We've done our part...let us continue with our duties and as for you members, let's rock AD in a great way, holidays are coming up....it's a time for harmony to prevail throughout AD.

isn't it against the rules to use mulitple screen names and pretend to be someone else?

I would rather let taylor whatever he is doing his police job to just protect the childerns on the earth. Im more concern in the kid's world, You don't understand what Fly Free have to say. She isn't ACCUSING one of you where the heck you think of this? She is just worried that pedophiles would near to the kids if somebody isn't care about thier kids or whatever is that..

Im sure alot of you are parents to the kids, would you want to allow pedophiles have the freedom to be around your own kids? Think about it.

For me as being mother to my son, I will NEVER NEVER let anybody who really is pedophiles near my son, it's for my own safety.

Me and taylor are NOT the same person. This mess is all my fault. Steve and I start talking and when he crossed the line we went to taylor for help and that is how taylor got involved. I dont know about the IP thing but officers were using my account for a while so they would be same at that time. i dont know if alex contacted taylor about this thread or asked him. i called taylors office and they told me he was gone until sometime november. i think taylor and spice are friends and she said same thing too. When was last time you spoke to taylor?

As much as taylor helped me, if he broke rules then he should pay like everyone else. i dont know what rules he broke but everyone seems to like him. I dont think he would do anything to make people think he was lying.

If you think me and taylor are same person then I dont know what I can do to prove it. I dont know what taylor can do to prove it. I do know that im sorry that this whole thing happened and i realize that i should have just ignored steve in first place. it was my fault for being nice to him in beginning. im sorry that i even mentioned it to taylor. if i had not, then none of this would have happened and steve would have done something else to get banned. because of all this many people who were friends are not speaking to each other and everyone is fighting. i did not mean for that to happen. hopefully taylor will come back when he gets home and say something. i ask that you do not blame taylor for what i did. I got him into the mess over this whole thing. taylor made thread a long time ago about helping people and the bad things that have happened when he did that here. i see that he was right about that.
 
and since i am troublemaker, maybe alex should ban me too. none of this would have happened if it werent for me. i dont want to leave here cuz i have friends but if that is the right thing for everyone then maybe i should. school is back anyway and i should focus on that.
 
guys... i decided to prove it for once and for all... im gonna arrange a trip to visit domino once i get her guardians approval.

i am discussing this with her. and again u guys are putting blame on other people... *sigh* pretty soon i wont care if i get banned or not.

I am sorry for once I am not sure if she is real or not cuz for one this person would be one of those cop to spy on us. I have reason to doubt her from the beginning to now. U have right to believe in her which it is perfect fine but I also have right to doubt her.

I do not know if you are playing game with us by acting alike 14 years old. For one many kids at that age are too busy to hang around with their peers, cuz I know I was once parents of 14 years old kids. Why would they want talk with older men or women here on AD or other forums. We are just a bunches of boring people for bunches of youngsters to hang around with. It does not make any senses. Sorry but I have a reason to doubt u. U should not be hang around with us adult period. U should be hang around with your age if ur true only 14 years old. I forbid mine if they come into chat room with olders. I had to monitor my sons when they were teenagers, now they are adults and they are into their own world but not to hang around with us olders still even they are in early 20's.

No, it´s not your fault... I know Taylor help you with this but Taylor should talk Alex first before he involved something. All what I hope that Taylor will do the same what Alex did here.

No, Alex do not claim that you and Taylor are the same person but it got him wondering and doubt why your sn in his account, that´s all. I belevie Alex will permit Taylor doing his job to use your IP but he didn´t. I would say the same with Alex, too. Anyway, he stood up himself here which is a great... You also, too... Well, I´m the same as her when I was her age. :cool: I like to talk older people and know my limit... Remember that ages is only number... Oh well... I also talk to teens too.. It doesn´t mean that I´m prevert because I´m friendly person & don´t mind to accept their talk.. . :roll:
