What does that really mean? How would Kerry conduct a "smarter" war?

First If he wants to strengthen the military, why did he vote against the money needed for the military?

Second How will he secure nuclear materials worldwide? Will that mean America must force other countries to let us control their materials?

Third Our government is doing that now, even though many liberals are complaining that those groups' "rights" are being ignored.

Fourth What exactly does that mean? Does that mean Kerry will increase the budget for Homeland Security?

Fifth How can Kerry do that? Will he close down the Muslim schools overseas that teach the boys to hate non-Muslims? Will he close the mosques that preach killing Christians and Jews?

Sixth That's a great idea! That is exactly what President Bush is doing in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Finally. Who are they, and how would he do that? Not France. They already said that they will not help, no matter who is President of the USA. Not Poland. They are good allies now, but since Kerry insulted them they might not support us if he wins.
 
Bush is a total failure in ALL aspects.
Why not try something different?

John Kerry is talking about employment, the economy, health care and other domestic and social issues, all of which are resonating with the American people. Kerry’s stance on terrorism and national security isn’t satisfying the American people, he's right about this. He thinks of us, he wants USA to be a better country, to leave them alone and to make peace!
However, Bush is focusing on national security and the war against terrorism. Although Bush says that he’s doing his best to protect the US’ borders and harbors. while he is really not protecting us at all. when he was told about 9/11 he just sat there and continue reading books to the kids, then he was informed on the 2nd plane crashing, he still contiuned reading the books to the kids. for a long period of time before taking action. He also went to the army *airforce* with one of bin laden's son. He owns the oil company here in texas with iraq's money. The 9/11 and everything started ever since he became president and he has not been there for any of us but except to make things worse! he will cut a lot of employee and disablities, as well as closed caption! all of those money he takes from us, goes to the war! he has done a lot bad things! you all need to watch 9/11 farheint *spelling?* it'll be a long time for things to get better if he's the president again!

Factcheck.org, the website that Cheney mistated during the debates, has accurate information about this.
Kerry voted to slash the military intelligence fund (not the military!) by about 1 billion at a time when it was found that the fund was hoarding about $1 billion. His cuts actually equalled the amount that was being misspent. Seems reasonable to me. Further, this was supported by republicans, and larger cuts to the tune of 20% were proposed by Cheney himself. But this all happened 10 years ago. Wouldn't you think today is a different situation?

With over 1 billion people, one fifth of the world's population, Muslims as a whole do not advocate such killing. Those that wish to kill others are extremists, no matter what their religion. It is by working WITH Muslims that we marginalize the extremists. Funny thing is, Cat Stevens is a noted peace activist. And we put him on a terrorist watch list and threw him out of the country. Gee, you would think that we would want a muslim peace activist on our side?

It is MUCH WORSE than that. Is is mistakenly believed that only Bush could have ordered fighter jets to be scrambled, whcih is not true. It was Rumsfeld's responsibility as well...
The Air Force was ORDERED TO STAND DOWN at the time of the attacks.
Some of what happened on 911, such as commercial jets flying off course and possible hijackings, are routinely handled. It is standard procedure to have fighter jets intercept commercial jetliners flying off course, yet on 911 no jets were scrambled for one and a half hours...WHY???

The simple fact is that at the time clinton was president, Republicans considered terrorism unimportant, unlike a blowjob. Clinton bombed Afghanistan to go after Bin Laden. Republicans, almost to a man, mocked that action.

We spent $40 million dollars investigating and impeaching Clinton for a blowjob. wow, That is a horrible high crime. Unlike Cheney's company making deals with terrorist countries that were under sanctions. Or the Bush White House outing a CIA operative. Or Bush flying Bin Laden's family out of the country after 9/11, Or..

Sure, getting a blowjob in office is deplorable, but the investigation was done on purely political merits. The straight republican party line vote to impeach aptly demonstrated its political nature. THAT political maneuvering hurt america, and dragged us ALL down in the mud.

Being amoral is deplorable, but being amoral in the search for power is worse. Republican actions to tar, smear, and indict their opponents doesn't seem to have any bounds.
