G'day,

I hope everyone's well. I am not deaf so you might think that it's a little strange that l'm on this forum, however I would like your opinion please.

Is there a need out there for DIY home maintenance videos that have captions under the video so that hearing impaired people can read along with the instructors voice as he is performing whatever he is doing therefore providing the complete experience.

If there is, would anyone object if l posted mine somewhere in this forum.

No hard feelings if the answer is no.

Cheers.

I'm sure that there are a lot of home maintenance videos with CC already in place.

Interesting idea, though.

You are very welcome to post some on here! This forum is for Everybody, That means you too.... :P There are many sections you can post the videos on, even on this thread.

You could ask your local hardware store about it (or check there yourself).

I'm sure a lot of hardware stores sell DIY videos and books for customers who want to do things themselves. Just grab those videos and check the back.

I'm sure they're captioned since hearing people will need it due to loud noises from tools from themselves. ;)

Go ahead and post the videos by all means. I wouldn't mind watching a few of them. It's always nice to have different opinions, techniques, or different sources to check out even if that type of videos with captions already exist.
