I, too, think it would be fun to RC one of those things. Know who sells 'em?
 
I went to a hobby place today to see about the T rex 500 - it is pricey. (Hobby Town USA sells them).

They had another one that was much bigger and could do acrobatic stuff like like the t rex 500 - $1,500 for everything (controller, heli, motor, spares) but no camera.

It was about 2x bigger than the t rex
 
That clip you put up, Steiny, is 5 min 12 sec long and seems edited so I'm impressed how long it can stay aloft.

I have a small 4 CH electric helicopter - its flight duration is 8 minutes.

Its sucks :( I need more batteries .....

However, it is a good learning tool - I would rather learn what NOT to do with this one than on one that cost me a lot of $$$

I used to be interested in this but gave up on it cuz of $$$$$$$$$
 
I was actually more interested in RC submarine. it's also cool :)
