I have considered using IP Relay, so how does it work? I'm asking because I have to make a phone call tomorrow about registering for classes at Uni.

How does the typical conversation go. I know you have to enter GA at the end of each transmission. But what other things should I know?

Do you have own mobile? what is brand name? You can use i711 wireless relay service.

Dixie doesnt have a cellphone yet but I suggest you to get a blackberry or a sidekick LX (the best one) and you can use the relay via AIM with the sidekick, I use MSN to use relay eh!

But if you know ASL well, I suggest you to get a videophone and you can use the VRS.

I dont have a mobile nor a usable webcam and I need to make the call tomorrow afternoon after I get home from work. So I have to use the IP relay since I dont have a TTY either.

You can google it on google.com called IP-Relay.com but there is an advertisement on alldeaf.com

What about SIPrelay? they don't require GA and SK, just normal conversation.

The difference is MYIPRelay requires GA and SK, SIPrelay don't. :)

Which website could I read some information on that, Calvin? Our IP relay in Australia requires it, and it is pretty frustrating, I just want to be as a normal conversation, eh!

with i711.com, you don't have to put in GA. Just push the Enter key and the GA will be added in for you automatically. It's real nice. I use i711 all the time for all of my phone calls.

You can use AIM in your computer to use IP-relay.

IP Relay allows users to make outgoing relay calls through instant messaging service.

IP-Relay.com

I used the IP Relay about early last year and it worked

I wonder that you use ip relay in your new Sidekick. Right? IP relay service can't use international call except VRS.

I use the australian IP relay, and it works fine - I tested to call my home phone last weekend, eh!

Really! I don't know that Australia have IP relay service. what is this website? Same as american website?

MSN... not AIM, all hiptops in australia (sidekicks) dont have AIM implented into these, but no charge, all is FREE :)

What makes an "LX" the best one?
