You could apply for food stamps. You will likely qualify if you have limited income. It doesn't hurt to try. They will either tell you if you qualify and how much you will get or tell you that you don't qualify. You get a card like a debit card and shop for food at the store like anyone.

And now i work at 7th jobs for 26 years.. wish you a luck but don't give up your reward.
