Here's another one.

The popcorn wasn't freshly popped. It was delivered in huge plastic bags, already popped. The fake popper that it was displayed in was just a heating lamp.

Sometimes the bags had mouse chew holes in them.
 
true....movie theaters make all of their $$ on the concession stands and the food/drinks!
