I found it ironic

My point wasn't more words is more thoughts. My point was your language has an affect on how you view thing. Like in that paper how they viewed quantities is different that how someone with a language with specific numbers would view them.

EDIT: To be more exact you stored that picture of the fly wheel in memory. You took it out and thought about how to put it on then stored it away again. And, to find it you used language(whatever represents a flywheel).

Nothing represents a flywheel. When i thing of flywheels i see a bunch of different and specific flywheels in my mind.

I don't just think of any fly wheel. I think of that exact flywheel. It is a photo realistic 3d model in my head. I don't have any problem remembering things i see in very clear detail.

It is not a graphical representation it is the exact image.

Exactly what is a photo realistic 3d model, in your opinion?

What i see in my mind is exactly what the part looks like. So if i'm thinking of my dog i see my dog perfectly right down to the engraving on her collar.

Isn't that just a representation of your dog? What the difference between the picture you took with your mind and the picture you would take with a camera?

Well a camera picture only has one static perspective with no depth. What i'm saying is that when i think dog, lots of specific dogs jump into my mind not a generalized concept of dog like what an ideogram is.

Are you saying you are not able to think in abstract terms? And, that you don't store abstract terms in your brain?

Not vey well. I'm much better at it that i used to be. And although most people can they don't start off that way. People are not born with language skills and some people never develop them but that doesn't mean they can't remember things or express themselves.

Not that we havn't already seriously hyjacked this thread but maybe we should star a new one. Instead of continuing this discusion here.
