I bought this today....

My TimeWarner Cable TV's (TWC) motorola HDTV cable box includes any of size, color, style, blackground, italic, etc but my brother's TWC's Scienific Altantic HDTV cable box includes one color and one text.which can't change it. That weird.
Motorola cable box is better than SC box.

Really... What model of your motorola HDTV Box? Our Verizon HDTV box with DVR's model QIP6416-2.

Motorola - HDTV Box won't let me change color, size and style. Just white. That's suck!!!

I got Cable Card into our Panasonic Plasma's rear TV. So, I can change color, size and style but one thing no guide & timetable for TV program.

That's sad.... today, they do not have built-in cable card slot (plug) on any HDTV. Just TIVO HD Box has two slots for cable cards.

cyan, blue, yellow, red and white

Also - I use green CC on Panasonic plasma.
Sony 32" LCD - not correct color green then we use yellow.
One thing.... Verizon FIOS's Motorla HDTV won't let me change color font/style/size.

Motorola 6416-3 DVR.

You should change it in it. Use your remote control for user settings. Press "CBL" then press "POWER" Press "MENU" to see different fonts, colors, style, blackground, etc. Enable to choose any of them. Finish to set up your favorite of them then press "menu" > power.

Try it.

Yes, I did try... still lock.
I called Verizon Tech person to come my house. He can't solve problem.

I will ask Verizon FIOS about 6416-3.

6416-1 - problem with HDMI
6416-2 - everything ok but poor quality CC at HD program and too fast CC on non-HD.

TIVO HD BOX - look great but 50 percent missing CC on HD CW (Smallville).

I think that you should use Component-Video Cable for CC. I had problem with HDMI about cc. I had changed Component-Video Cable that CC was better. ok You will try to change another 6416-3 cable box.

Two months ago, I did play with component cable vs HDMI.

#1 - Component-Video Cable - TV's CC is ON and HDTV box's CC OFF - all non-HD program look great..... HD program won't work with CC

#2 - Component-Video Cable - TV's CC is OFF and HDTV box's CC ON - Some non-HD program gave me hard time too fast CC - no way to read 7 words in less than 1 second...... HD program - not great quality CC (mix fad - bold)

#3 - HDMI cable - TV's CC is ON and HDTV box's CC OFF - all no CC

#4 - HDMI Cable - TV's CC is OFF and HDTV box's CC ON - same as #2

#5 - Cable Card plug in our older plasma (built in Cable card slot) - TV's CC is ON - Look great CC. I can change color, size and style fonts. One thing Smallville (HD program) about 50 percent no CC. One thing, I dislike to see non-HD program. They show two (right & left) side bright - bad for my Plasma - burn in

Today, all HDTVs do not have cable card slot. TIVO HD box does have two cable card slots.

:eek3: You say my TV's small? Hell, no way! Its 81cm in math word.

Yes, it is all good. and it is crispy and I am glued to the TV whenever I watch the shows ;)

Yeah it small My cousin have bigger tv than yours. No offense.

I would like to have a LCD Multimedia. LCDM with touch screen tv, computer, screensaver, webcam-visual phone, slide show photo, and etc... You get the pictures. I know there are computer with graphical card which have cable tv connected to the computer or external component hardware comes with cable wires to connect to TV. I rather have all in one on big screen like 40 or 50 inches.

Wow! that s weird for different kind.

Component-Video Cable = TV's CC is on - caption is white for digital tv programs

Component-Video Cable = HDTV's CC is on - caption is any color for all HDTV programs

No problem

dbarovian... thank you for share information.

Just test on my 4 or 5 years old Panasonic Plasma HDTV.
Not feel like to play with my 1 year old Sony LCD HDTV.

No problem

I read your experience with HDTV's CC is on - any color/size/style for all HDTV.

Your story made me think about our older Panasonic Plasma vs Sony LCD are not same tech. You make me too curious. This weekend, I hope that I will do on Sony. Then we will find out......

That's nice.

I heard that new HDTV contains 120 Hz instead of 60 Hz due the speed up frames and less blurry for example of playing rush football game.

It is probably not really that important.

Yawn, I gotta to sleep.

:laugh2: I don't worry that I have home insurance. no worries

JVC LCOS HDTV (like DLP) not expensive cost.
Oh i got it.. Your TV is little deceive, because I was thought that your TV is LCD.

Plasma flat planel TV is very trick too.

The letters in Australia look like uneven sizes, like changing in the middle of a word between size 12 to 16 and then back. If it always looks like that I would think it is distracting.
I think it varies on the television, not the country.

Jclarke, why Sharp? That was a huge mistake for you to get a Sharp. ;)
I have researched about Sharp Aquos, and Sony Bravia. Sony is killing Sharp.

I don't think anyone understands my meaning.

I think on Jake's tv, the letter sizes are different in the middle of words. Not the font size.

I don't care for Sony, but I bought the Sharp TV for a reasonable price I paid for, and the sony TV is bloody expensive!

I am awaking.

Which do you think that it might be a good HDTV? Are you willing to buy it with a 120 Hz? Authentic?
