I am proud to be a Wii owner

Reggie, president of NOA (Nintendo of America) mentioned that the Wii owners will be getting a surprise before Christmas. Of course, that's only if they are connected to the Internet.

I wonder what it's going to be... maybe Opera? Hmm.

Yeah, by the way... Reggie also mentioned that they are doing everything they can to get Goldeneye (N64) back for the Virtual Console... hopefully that's going to happen!

Even better... add online-multiplayer support for Goldeneye! I doubt that'll happen.

Ah nuts...if they ever did add online mulitplayer mode for Goldeneye...for sure that would be AS close as they would ever get to kill off Halo's mulitplayer online! :D

Makes me wonder about the status of Goldeneye making it to the wii virtual console. I dont know if Fils-Aime and Nintendo still retained the rights to Goldeneye after selling Rare to M$. I cant remember the exact details of the sale of Rare to M$ by Nintendo, but I know that 3 Nintendo franchises moved over to M$ (Perfect Dark, Conker and Banjo Kazooie) while Nintendo kept the other games that Rare developed for them.

Its going to be pretty complicated to get Goldeneye back to the wii. Let's see how many fingers are in the Goldeneye pie:

1) Nintendo
2) M$
3) Rare
4) The Broccolis (owners of the James Bond movie franchise)
5) EA cause of Goldeneye 2
6) MGM/UA movie studios

I think the lawyers are gonna have fun getting this mess straightened out before Goldeneye comes over to the wii.

Another question I have been pondering is will Goldeneye still retain the James Bond aura even 12 years after its debut on the N64? if so Im running back to the EBGames again and get a wii

yep EA sucks lol...expect the only game I liked by EA is Black.

now another game by EA games got me interested and that is Army of Two.

who knows if that one would be good also...?

Battalion wars 2 is supposetd to be out eventually. The first one was amazingly fun, the second should be even more awesome!

my friend got 2 Wiis and they both broke lol, i d love to get one but i want to make sure some out there actually work, sounds like no problems so far on this forum maybe I'll have to get one now.

There are usually just some minor issues with the Wii by not many ppl who owns one so no its not as bad as it was with the Xbox360 or PS2 around launch.

I already have Wii, but idk which games are best to play? I havent buy game yet since launch day...
