How're builded you inner thoughts as deaf.

I talk to myself in words a lot. Even though my CI is off sometimes, I can hear myself speaking.

I wish that everyone came with CC! That would be so cool! Even better if you could turn them off when you don't want to read it!

I wish someone develop a technology for that... actually... Problem is that the voice recognition program for it would be so ridiculously expensive. Not to mention it would need to be self-corrective because people won't bother programming their own.

I sometimes "talk to myself" which is to say I sign to nobody. Half the time, my hands don't really move much. Most of the movement is in my head, and the hands only move slightly, probably not enough for anybody able figure out what I'm saying. In dreaming, usually everybody in my dream signing perfectly, including people I know don't sign. There is no sound. Only there sometimes background music, like in a movies. :giggle:

Cool topic. I've always been interested in this type of stuff.

For me, my interior language is a mixture of "heard" English, emotion, and imagery. I acquired English naturally before my hearing started to go, so I still have the auditory memory of all the speech sounds, even if I don't hear half of them anymore. In my mind, I still hear fully sounded English.

Dreams are inconsistent for me; Sometimes I am HoH in them and cannot understand people, other times I can hear people perfectly. I usually only remember dreams when they are lucid, which is maybe every couple weeks or so, but when I do, it is always in color, always lots of sound and speaking, and usually from my own point of view. Can be very fun when I get to fly. :)

Same here.

I have in past variably dreamed in Spanish, English or ASL.....often think in pictures, not words....sometimes signs. Sometimes sign to myself. Tend to have dreams w/lots of images, know I'm dreaming and can control my dreams. Sometimes do hear the words in my head - it all varies-
