Ran across this forum researching hearing aids.....got myself checked yesterday and I guess I'm gonna need 'em....Up untill about three years ago I had great hearing, I always wore earplugs even back when nobody did...anyway I took some Bextra and one of the rare side effects is hearing loss..so I got picked ....lucky I guess...I started noticing that I was having some problems and we have hearing test at work every six months to a year or so....it showed up that all the tops in the ranges were chopped off...so I am 99.9% sure the drug caused it...of course my insurance won't cover hearing loss...those babies ain't cheap are they....still have not decided what to go with but am leaning toward the Oticon Tego ...any reviews?...anyway maybe I can learn from ya'll.....
