I tried this one out, and from the 1900s to the 1990s....my name "Nancy" was the most popular in the 1940s, which ranked #7 in my graph (#1 means the most popular name of that gender in that decade). :)

I went with my real name: Margaret. Obviously it was very popular during turn of 20th century. I named my oldest daughter Margaret Rose thinking that there wont be any kids in her class with that name. Turned out that there are 2 Margaret Roses in her class.
