How often do you dream?

I didn't remember many dreams for most of my life.

For the past year, I have been really sick because of my heart. I wake up dreaming that I am dying, and I am very sad.

Unfortunately, this is the time my brain decided to let me know and remember my dreams.

And it's pretty easy to interpret, I am afraid of death...

Thanks, but not that lizard! I hope...

I miss Barney (a former ADer)!

For those who are new, Barney was a purple vibrator. It was interesting while he was an AD member.

When I was a little girl I had recurring themed dreams , they actually more like nightmares . I knew what they meant and I can still remember them 60 years later.

I have chronic insomnia, so I am prescribed Ambien to sleep. Either it doesn't let me dream, or I don't remember them. Either way, I used to remember dreams before I started taking it, however now I only remember 1 or 2 dreams once in a great while. :dunno2: Usually, they're the ones I didn't want to remember. :( So I wouldn't call them dreams. Sometimes they're nightmares, sometimes they're just dreams of things I wish and hope for... but again, rarely do I remember them or have them... whichever it is. :ugh:

I seldom if ever dream or at least remember any dreams. The past few nights, I have found sleeping when you're high is a very strange feeling.

Don't do any drugs, because I'm not cool like that or whatever... I sleep drunk though and that's a pretty fantastic feeling. :D :laugh2:

Alcohol is just another drug. Just don't walk out in a cold area drunk and decide to sleep, because you'll never wake up (This was part of my orientation at UAF several years back, among other interesting topics that day..lol)

It's weird, the times I have been intoxicated, I always knew I could still drive and even backed my car into the garage drunk once. When I smoke pot, I know better than to drive at all. I find the comparison from my experiences to be interesting.

Oh I don't drink as much as it may seem, though I'm familiar with my drinks! :D I don't do it constantly! :laugh2: I DEFINITELY never operate any kind of motor vehicle drinking...

It's normal to dream often and naturally wet dreams pop up now and then for some people.

Well, I'll say this much-- I've had some pretty wild ones. No need to go into detail, as those wild ones aren't pleasant. Let's just say that it was wishful thinking, and leave it at that. Some others, however, not so nice.

I dream a lot. And they are vivid. I remember them ok when I wake up, but they fade fast usually. I tend to remember bad dreams better than good ones.Unfortunately now I am awake.

Not sure...but i think that when you dont remember your dreams you wake up better rested

Here's one I CAN share. One night, I was sleeping, and I was in a deep slumber, and a snake (poisonous) was sneaking up on me. Well, I sat up bolt upright, and turned on the lights, before I realized I was in a place where there aren't any snakes. After that, I didn't get back to sleep for the rest of the night. I don't remember the kind, but I'll tell you this much-- it was deadly enough to kill while I was asleep. I think it was a black, yellow, and red snake-- what's the name? I know there's two kinds, one is poisonous, the other is not.
