Usually just when going for new hearing aid.
Same here ,but if I feel I my hearing has gotten worst I will have it tested and have my HA volume adjusted . My audi does like to test my hearing once a year but I forget to call for an appointment .
If it's free, that's not a bad idea, but if you have to pay for it - pass. I got news that it was declining and hit with a $64 dollar bill - for some reason, I thought it'd be fully covered by my insurance. They paid quite a bit but I still didn't like getting a $64 bill. I have better uses for my money....I won't do it again until I'm ready to buy.
Hearing tests and new HA's are free here on the NHS, we pay taxes instead anyway thanks for sharing your experiences
National Health ServiceWhat does NHS stand for?
National Health Service
It is the health care system/insurance in the United Kingdom. Kind of what the US tried to aspire to with the ADA ("Obamacare")
I've been getting my hearing tested every few months this past year.. about once a year or so prior.
Edit: Sorry, I just realized this is an old thread now..
