I seldom update the status. Just if something unusual happens. My daily life is too boring to update!
 
Used to post on it several times a day, but have since abandoned it for a myriad of reasons. I am so not into useless TMI from peeps I barely know, now only use texting with those close to me.

I like to post encouraging messages on my status or a brief good day or so . I don't post TMI things on my fb lol

Mine status is updated like once every other 1-2 months, so that people know I am alive.

Back in 7 years ago it was more like once a week, but since then I've decreased the amount of times I update my status.

You got me thinking, my family probably thinks I'm dead! LOL Tried to check, just my luck forgot my password!

Quiet facebook page makes it all more likely for your family to nag about what you are doing! ;)
 
I update mine probably once a day but not everyday

I never post my activities on FB, and my family doesn't nag me. We keep in touch other ways. :)

Anyone beyond my immediate family and friends don't need to know, and probably aren't interested anyway.
 
Maybe twice a week? I only use it if I have something meaningful to share, I hate people who just pollute their news feed with those stupid e-cards and memes about relationships and drinking too much. Have you not got any thoughts of your own?
 
I like to post witty and humorous stuff about what goes on in my life. Several of my friends and family who are on my FB have told me that they enjoy reading my statuses and asked me not to stop. I love to write and I guess I channel a little bit of my creativity on FB. :)

That's true, I can see how it works that way for your family.
Some of my family doesn't live in the USA, facebook is one of the mediums we use to keep in contact with each other.
 
I have friends all over the world. It's so easy to keep up with them on FB. We share photos of kids, grandkids, gatherings, all sorts of things. One of my friends is a near saint to me. He helps kids in Nepal with school, food, safety and I love to see his pictures. Also I met lots of folks online and we have known each other for years. I like to keep up with them too. Not so much with local folks, but we do meet in person.
So, multiple times a day.

It's true that FB is a good way to keep in touch with people who live far away. We are able to keep in touch with our missionary and military friends and family all over the world. I read their posts. I just don't add anything to mine.
 
Im always on, play games, joke around....switch between everything throughout the day.
 
i checked it once a while cuz i have outside life is most important than sitting my butt to use the computer.
