How many of you as kids saw a hooded man in your room while sleeping?

I’ve experienced them too. I’ve left my body, slid off the bed feet first, fallen, heard voices, you name it. My wife used to think that she could see dead people. Since she only saw them when she was in bed or when she was meditating, I explained to her that these were merely hypnagogic hallucinations.

yeah starrygaze.. not just during hot weather.. you work night time and surf online during daytime and dont go to bed till like 3 or so.. and wake up to go work at 8 pm .. and worse on saturday.. you dont GO BED TILL 8 OR 9 PM that night.. then u wake up early sunday morning like 2 am to 4 am.. still not enough sleep? that can cause hallucinations and also stress causes that too from what i have been reading on the links levonian posted in here. thats what i do believe in with what and why u have hallucinations few times..
 
I unds if you guys believe it is hypnagogic hallucination. I have researched it for awhile and true it can happen to any of us. But for me I already knew when I see them, then I knew something going to happen and it happen alike they warned me of something. For instance today at work, I was busy and focus on work then for a second I saw an angel in my mind then I knew something is wrong. Well it did something happened few hours later, good thing it was not too serious, our tree fell down after a powerful dust devil knock it down ( away from our house and fence and next door, whew). So do call me nut when I see angels once awhile then I knew I am being warned of something ahead of me.

I do not believe kids image those things, they do not know what image is or able to tell adults about it. I remember my then three years old son told me some bizzare stories and where does he get those stories as he never saw or heard of them before. He has not read book or know about them. I asked him now about them, he does not remember but I do remember what he told me few things. I would not share this one here because it happened to me and he saw it. I do not even know or remember then till 10 years ago. Now I unds why little kids are not sealed till they getting little older. We are meant not to remember or see them. It is better this way for us all human beings that we do not see them.
 
One person on the thread said my hooded guy was Jesus!, because of the blazing red eyes.

Yeah, I thought about too, but why was he wearing a hooded black outfit, and why couldn't I see his face or any hands?

That's too creepy!

Some people actually even believe the angels are really demons and the demons are really the true angels of our Earth. Weird, I know....but some people actually really believe this! Me, no way!
 
i dont believe that the angels are demons.. most of them come to me in my dreams and they are good? i havent seen any demons? i hope i wont see any .. sighs.
 
When i was 6 i woke up to a light and saw a man who looked very modern but was in a white robe glowing hovering over my floor he looked at me and said Be still He is with you. As soon as he said that i went into my first grandmal I can remember. Before i had had little seizures but not one like this it really freaked me out
 
All I saw in my childhood was the ghosts of Native Americans and the painted ponies. What freaked me out was the man in a cowboy hat and long coat stood in the hallway? Still I can hear the musics of flute and drums ever since. Ahh, bring a lot of harmony and peace when I need it. ;)
