How long to wait to take a home pregnancy test?

Take pregnant test after 2 weeks overdue.

Try to urine into glass then you will know that you are pregnant when you see full white spots on it but STILL go doctor for blood test because blood test is alway correct than urine test or home pregnant test.
 
since i have 6 kids.. i had home pregnant test all last 5..

after you had sex... 2-3 weeks.. take test..

it works for me.. all turned out positive.. after I feeling.. weird or sick..

He knew. I told him no protection because it hurt me when we first had sex. I know what I am doing, AJ. Chill out.

I will have a test to find out in 2 weeks or wait til if I am late.

Okay, I will do that. PRAYING PRAYING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so sure that I am not pregnant but it never hurts to have a test anyways.

It takes two to tango, honey. Two to create a baby, two to have sex and two or more to transfer STDs.

If you knew what you were doing, why did you create a thread asking for advice about home pregnancy tests & when to test for pregnancy after a late period?

In this day and age, anyone that says "No protection" is asking for a death sentence, period.

No no, not what I meant. What I was trying to say, that we had used protection and it really hurt me and I told him to take it off and it felt better. I dont know why rubbers hurt and the real thing doesnt hurt. I dont understand. Anyways, I know about sex, pregnancy and stds and aids. I know all that. What I was asking is how long is the best to wait til to take a pregnancy test? That is all.

You know what I mean?

You are best to wait for your HCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) levels to increase in the blood system after your missed cycle.

HCG can be detected in the blood before the first missed menstrual period, as early as six days after implantation.

It can be as early as 6 days like the source said however it is best to wait longer after the missed cycle for the HCG levels to increase in your blood system to get a result with an EPT.

Ok....I'm confused?

I am making sure if I understand... I am learning too, Deaf Georgia. So it is not effective to take a pregnancy test few days before or during menstruation time?

I am having a trouble time to go through with my spotting implanation and other symptoms.

I have never been pregnant before. I am so clueless about this. First of all,

Ladies, please help. I may sound like a dumb but seriously, I am a little frustrated. I talked to my mom and my doctor, it was not so helpful.

My last actual period was July 30- Aug 4th. The bleeding flow was normal. But... about ten days later, I had some light pink and brownish blood ... it repeatedly stop and go. I was confused. I thought it must be normal as everyone said. In my instinct, I felt something else. I knew my period was supposed to come about another ten days. Again about ten days later, I had a light spotting and brownish again.

I got so frustrated and then went to see the regular doctor, and he tells me that I may be pregnant, or had miscarriage.. OR maybe cyst. Actually my exam for women was shown normal in about 2 months ago. No sign of disease or cyst. ... I took a pregnancy test while I had spotting implanations? The result was negative. I was confused and thought that the test was effective to take a week or two week after period?

I left the dr.'s office, I felt soooooo frustrated. I couldn't help saying what's going on? I always have a healthy life and now this? Seriouisly, I am so lost. Any advice or input? Please DO!

As for the irregular spotting, I'd really see a fertility specialist and an ob/gyn too as well. You can never have too many precautions especially when a woman wants to have a child. Several spottings after a cycle isn't normal so be sure to mention this to your specialist.

Yeah other says it s normal which I do not think so. Hehe. I have an appt with obgyn next fri. I m just looking for someone who experienced similar as me.

Sounds like fibroids. It sometimes can be undetectable in certain tests. Nas' friend have one and she frequently have some spotting time to time. She went to see the doctor to check out if she got preg or not but she isn't. It is like that for months, she decided to take different kind of tests and she finally found it. It is fibroids. There is a lump in near her reproductive organ which causes these spotting that she had/have for months. It also screwed up her cycle as well.

Yikes... at least it only happened this month.. it is the first time I ever experienced. But I will find out more on next Friday. Thanks for freaking me out! hahaha *jk*

I had it twice but it stopped since. I was informed by gyn doctor that it was caused by stress. It is common with most women but u better go check with ur gyn doctor to make sure.
