How long to wait to take a home pregnancy test?

I was wondering how long to wait to take a home pregnancy test? I tried to do some research and It doesnt help me much. Anything from you, I would appreciate it. Thank you.
 
I waited until I know I missed my cycle for sure. :D All my home tests worked for me. :thumb:

Like you are late for your period? Just wait til like if your period was supposed to start but it didnt?
 
hopefully i wont know the answer to that question until im married and ready to start a family.

Whispers: No, I had unprotected sex. YIKES! (we are in love so much-trying to be careful but yikes!)
 
Thats correct! I have done that and these home preggy test DOES work well! Very accurate. I prefer EPT. After I found positive result, I just go down to Planned Parenthood cause I was freak out of turning myself into daddy. So, PP confirm the positive. The cost was only 7 dollars, and I used that to prove DSS (Department of Social Service) to get aid, and WIC. So, after that, tell ya this... THIS WAS THE BEST THING EVER HAPPENED TO ME! Will I do that again? Sure! I will fuck and get another baby! NO QUESTION about it! In fact, I thought I will be in financial trouble, but found myself totally opposite! Now that is 5 years ago. grin

You are liable to get more than a baby when having unprotected sex.

ya man u should ALWAYS use protected sex. im a man and even i know that.
 
you can find out if you're pregnant after 2 weeks of sex, but if I were you, I would wait til I miss my period.. if you do miss your period.. then go for the test. If you can't wait any longer.. you can try taking the home test but best timing is after you miss your period.. unless you get your morning sickness first. I conceived in the end of august but found out I was pregant 2 weeks later with morning sickness on my birthday.. I though it was the flu.. but surely wasn't..

I am not a woman but I had some experience because of my ex-girlfriend who got preg from me (by accident). My ex took a home preg test when she missed her cycle. Actually, she waited for extra two weeks right after missed her cycle to make sure and then asked me to pick up the home preg test for her. And it confirmed our suspicions. I'd suggest you to sit it out and wait until you miss your cycle for real... if you do miss your cycle, get a home preg test to check it out.

Edited: I removed a part of my post because I misread someone else's post. No sleep for 48 hours with almost 24 hours of training screwed me up.
 
For more accurate results is getting a blood test by a Dr!

My ex chose to have an abortion and I supported her decision. If she choose to keep it, I would support her decision either.
 
Take a EPT.

I heard somewhere if you buy Drano, pour in a cup or in toilet i dont remember but if the color changes. it will tell you if you are preg or not....or was that to determine sex of baby?... my brain is not functioning today.

I am not sure if that is a myth or not.
