How long should I wait to have haircut and dye my hair?

mine too that my hair is slow grow lol :giggle: my hair was let grow since 1995 and sometime trim but still slow slow slow like turtle arghhhh wanna faster!!! :lol: .. my youngest sister's hair easy grow too fast geez how she do that lol she use normal shampoo and grow fast hmmmm make me wonder how!! lol :lol:
 
I haven't dyed my hair for 4 months now.

I am assuming that Felixkat already has dyed her hair before and knows whether or not she is allergic to it.

There are also semi-permanent dyes that do not contain peroxide or amnonia that she can try if she wants to be more conservative than doctors' recommendations.

next time u go to store .. why dont u look at the hair dye box and read .. it will say before you dye.. ALWAYS do this 24 hours before you dye your hairs. cuz u could be using that for YEARS then one day *bam* u are allergic to it? U will be suffering horribly with redness and itchy. ugh! :(

3 weeks? interesting.. my sons father i think his was like 4th weeks BUT the incision was still swollen for at least 2 months.. finally is gone last month.. as he had surgery last april.. maybe every individual are different? i guess.. :)
 
;) The chemicals in hair dye are very caustic. That is- its not good for any skin openings on the scalp. 3 weeks should be long enough for a wound to appropriately go through the healing process enough to tolerate hair dye. This is ruling out the point if you have any problems with slow healing wounds or are taking any medications that decrease your integumentary system's barrier to infection.

My wife just had a nice weave done. I want her to get hair extensions in a couple weeks. Im just curious how it would be.

should have cut hairs first before surgery to have all hairs together then donate to locks of love cuz since u had surgery.. some hairs are missing due to shaving for surgery?? thats why i went ahead and cut my hairs short in case i have to prepare for surgery soon.. so get over with.. lol :)

i did talk to audiogloist about this.. she said its better to wait 3 months due to skin being sensitive and still healing?? your body is still fighting germs and all that.. so good idea to wait a bit longer...

also i want to say.. if you go ahead and dye your hairs.. the hairs that is gone where surgery is at ?? that hairs will look different from other hairs?? better to wait till hairs is grown then you can dye at same time.. take at least for hairs to grow .. how fast yours is? i dont know.. i think i would wait at lesast 3 months like the audiologist said.. :)

I wouldnt do anything with my hair just yet after that "exterme surgery" give it a rest..maybe around 4-6 months..

just take patiences and focus on your CI healing too..
 
I don't belive expensive that is lots of cochlear implant. I don't believe cochlear implant to war is enemy is hurt to confused someone don't understand is become go to travel change understand. I don't know what is problem is mental low on mind. I have problem mind of people deaf is Canada. I want to swept to clean don't want to low mind funny character is person behavior. I don't like that is recogized to you silly attitude. I know not enough mature it appropriate. THe deaf people more hard workk study homework. The important to better very more educational. I know smart to analyzed to regarding to cochlear. I know Saskatoon Is Can very well I want to meet to you

Have you check with Audiogloist or Surgeon about this?

I prefer to wait until skin 100% healing then....
 
I am healing good.. just those darn pinching is bothering me sometimes. And pain on and off but not too bad though bec I have meds for it. :D

everybody asked me how the heck did i have my hair grow so fast! my hair is down to my hip. you can use horse shampoo. im serious.. it helps ur hair grow longer and faster. :)
