How is your weather today??

i am in australia and in the middle of summmer, last week we went through a very intense heat wave. thankfully it has cooled slightly this week
 
Huh. The temps were supposed to dip below freezing overnight, but it's still 40 right now, and that tells me one of two things will happen today: either we get a really nice warm day today, or the temps will plunge suddenly, and I'm hoping it's not the latter.
 
I am so ready for MORE SNOW!! Just because i need snow for my family and I can enjoy our time to ski!!!
 
i wish i could ski but winter olympic soon,i love them

Though I had to put my hat & gloves on, I was happy I could take a walk at lunchtime today.

Nope not close to Death Valley:giggle: Had family members up in Lake Tahoe last weekend and they said the snow was not vey good to ski. We love to go boating but they release a lot of lake water during boating season when we haven't had a lot of rain or snow. The lakes are dangerous when they are too low.

Perfect weather for most outdoor activities this week. Like you said 70's all week. Hoping my knee will let us do some biking soon.
 
They say next week... like last wed. Night when the wind chill was -15
 
Oh, haven't looked that far into the future though I have heard rumblings of a mini polar vortex.

Ah.. I see. Maybe I misinterpreted and she meant polar but she used last week to compare. Hey, all my daughters specialists are up there, wish they'd bring some to Kent!
 
It was 81 degrees today. And supposely its going to be around 80 all week.
 
You probably "heard" right. The polar vortex brings frigid temps.
Sorry I questioned you. I thought you meant this week.

fairly warm, but bloody windy, its giving me headaches, like yes i have a headache...strange weather, and its annoying...
 
31 now, with a potent Alberta Clipper on the way. Just great. More snow and brutal winds.
 
U think that Artic is supposed to miss us next time, well according to the map I saw earlier today. Didn't look like it's going to be almost the entire country. Phew, I'll have to check the weather forecast to be sure though.

It was still gorgeous today, I didn't check the temps but wore jeans a long sleeve with the sleeves pushed up and flips flops when I went grocery shopping earlier :D

Not everywhere; more like the northern states. I, too, saw the Accuweather map of where it's supposed to hit, and they say it's mostly up north, like here.
 
Polar Vortex, Alberta Clipper... It feels like someone gave all the weather forecasters a word-of-the-day calendar.
