How do you feeling when people touch your device?

I never had anyone touch my HA , but I do hate when people talk into my HA like it an ear phone! A doctor did that , he leaned over and spoke in my HA! I was speechless! I thought doctors were smarter than that!!
 
My little nephew

My three year old nephew once snuck up behind me while I was sitting on the couch a turned my HA off(He had never seen one before and was curious). I was amused buy the whole thing.

One day I hold my little 2nd cousin Cam. He saw my Speech processor on my ear and grabbed it. I told him do not touch it.

Your Doctor sounds very rude. Your doctors should know more about Deaf's needs.. Hows crazy
 
I believe that is an invasion of personal space. Same with people grabbing my wheelchair or leaning on it or on me. Back off!
 
when i wore my CI, people never touched it.. it was always hidden in my hair. :P
 
It has happened to me few times when I was younger, and I didn't mind but now, no one would really touch it. Instead they would ask to look at it and I would lift my hair up to show them my CI. It doesn't bother me one bit.

You're lucky. The elder lady touched my sound processor when is my hair down. That is weird! I am wonder how did she know that I got CI. She might hear the rumor. None of her business!

My elder cousin's grandson is deaf with CI. The elder cousin touched my CI when he was drunk on Thanksgiving. He wanted to make sure if I am wear CI when my hair is down. He got on my nervous! He is my least favorite cousin.
 
I need to make a shirt with word to show strange people "Do not touch my implant without ask!" I can wear it to my family and cousins.
