I honestly don't like the cloud data version. two words: Too slow to upload.
it's not the cloud. it's your ISP.
It's not my ISP. Hard drive and high speed USB flash storage and others have way higher transfer speeds for large data files. Upload is like about 500kb/sec and download is up to 2-3 MB/sec. hard drives, USB flash storage, etc can top 25-100+ MB/sec depending on the device. I have a 500 GB USb external hard drive.
right. that's what I'm saying.
it's your ISP. the cloud itself is fine. your ISP's speed rate is crap. if you're doing this from commercial/university side with ultra-high speed line... no problem.
Not worth the cost for home use and cloud costs money every month if you want 50-100 GB of space and I already have 50 GB used up on my hard drive. It's lot cheaper to have my own storage device than paying per month for larger cloud storage and faster ISP.
that's why what I do is I upload only documents for cloud site. it's really silly to upload movies, songs, etc.
What is the Cloud?I am really out of date as I do not know what a cloud data is.
I used to go to work with my dad in the 70's and play with the punch card machine.. he worked for Sperry Univac at the time...
I've used all the media pictured plus more:
Punched paper tapes on a loop, large format floppies, ZIPs, cassette tapes, portable external hard drives, and reel-to-reel magnetic tape.
